meanwhile on a neighborhood web platform-the City of Houston-Dept. of Neighborhoods posts a callout to Educators to attend a meeting to inform and illuminate on the horrible human trafficking and victimization of unaccompanied minors (sex slavery). This same agency is hooked in to Forward.US (a Zuckerburg open borders non profit) and helps siphon off tax dollars to pay for lawyers and an array of services to illegals.
I completely went off on the comments thread-revealing the handiwork of the ACLU & Soros in paying off our sheriff & other local pols to derail 287G and any enforcement against IA’s thereby creating the needed environment for MS-13 human trafficking, etc...these liberals kept trying to swat me back...but somebody quietly sent me a Thank You.
On that bench for 34 years, is now 75 yrs old.
It should be in my view.
Then if any illegal harms or kills a citizen or even another illegal in that county; they should be open to civil litigation into the millions per incident. What they are saying is they approve the random crime illegals commit and they will in fact protect them from being processed out of the country.
That kind of behavior should nullify any protections the sheriff, mayor, city council, or governor has from being sued. In truth they should also be considered criminals themselves for being complicit in the crimes committed by the criminals they protect from prosecution.
The ACLU asserts that ICE uses the detainers to “bully local authorities into imprisoning immigrants, many of whom have done nothing wrong, and funneling them into deportation proceedings.

Agreed...It blows me away that a person who sneaks into our country illegally ignoring immigration law is considered by anyone to have any rights whatsoever.
My view is the only right they have is the right of deportation, period.
