What do you think the top priority of Congress would be if the Democrats win control of the House in November? The answer is something upon which both the left and the right would agree: Impeachment. And yet the party position is to pretend that impeachment is not on their minds 24/7 because they know such an admission could hurt them with the voters, no matter what Waters might be saying.
The only other type of person who would go through such a pretense would be a writer acting in the role of a leftist scribe no matter how lacking in credibility it is. Such a person seems to be Vox writer Ella Nilsen who performed the amazing feat of leaving the I-word out of her September 11 article titled, "House Democrats’ top priority if they win in November is a sweeping anti-corruption bill":

If the pubs keep the house, they should have a ceremonial impeachment of Obama. Just to troll.
If the pubs keep the House, the Maxine Meltdown will be of such proportions they will have to strap her down to a gurney as they roll her into the Rubber Room. ...An excellent incentive to vote pub in November just to see that scene. Oh, and a lot of other Democrats would be in the same state of meltdown. Chris Matthews would probably hit the bottle while on the air.

No when the conservatives and pubbies keep the house, Maxine and her ilk need to be prosecuted for inciting violence and sedition.
Let’s use impeachment and prosecution of these pieces of dirt senators and representatives who have been threatening and attempting to unravel the very fabric of this country .
I wonder what would be the charge on which they would base this impeachment. I also wonder if their life insurance is paid up.

They will do this no matter what. It will be their way of filling the 24 hour news cycle for the next two years, and their way of paralyzing Trump’s presidency. Nothing of his will get through, it will be wall to wall hearings and hysterics, and even on Fox it will be the only thing on 24 hours a day, seven days a week, through the end of 2020.
They will do this no matter what they say. It doesn’t matter that they have no grounds, they don’t need grounds. They just need a TV camera and a microphone.
One yuuuuuuuge problem is that all (except for Rasmussen) are doing their polling via cell phone calls. Problem is, who answers their cell phones from numbers they don't recognize on their caller ID? I know I usually don't and those very few times I do answer unknown callers I almost always regret it because they are usually pitching me something. Therefore the ones answering their cell phones tend to be more naive than average---typical democrats which weights the polling in that direction.

When Dems hate one of us (Trump) they make up the charges as they go along and have the propaganda machine (media) make it worse than any crime in human history.

Mueller could use a photoshopped image, a digitally altered sound recording and a forged document along with a terrorized and brutalized witness trying to get out of a life in prison (Manafort,Flynn,others) to bring down Trump if he felt like it.

They are toning down impeachment talk so as not to rile up the MAGA base. Instead they are re-focusing on ObamaCare. It is a clever pivot, and worries me in places like MO, WV and even TX.

Impeachment is pretty much all the dems think about. It’s front and center on their minds 24/7 awake or asleep. That and stopping President Trump in every way they possibly can.
