Church records show more than 100 accused priests, not 42 as stated by Bishop Malone
WKBW Buffalo ^ | 09/12/2018 | CHARLIE SPECH

When the Diocese of Buffalo in March released a list of 42 priests “who were removed from ministry, were retired, or left ministry after allegations of sexual abuse of a minor,” Bishop Richard J. Malone billed it as a historic coming-clean of decades worth of secrets.

But new evidence obtained by 7 Eyewitness News from inside the diocese’s secret archives shows the true scope of abuse was much larger than Malone publicly let on -- with a total of 106 total priests on the original draft list of accused priests.

A second internal document shows that may be understating the problem.

Do not receive an accusation against an elder except from two or three witnesses. Those who are sinning rebuke in the presence of all, that the rest also may fear. 1 Tim 5:19,20

Glad the media is looking into this. But 100 accused and 42 removed from ministry. So of the other 58 are they all guilty? Lets not give up the basic constitutional principles of innocent until proven guilty. Some those other 58 accused may be guilty, some may not, All may be guilty, all may not. Lets just see where the evidence leads us.

We should respond to this with silence and prayers ...

I have my own theory that the strengths or weaknesses of the Church are amplified with respect to society at large. The Church is both a mirror of society as well as an agent of change, and can both lead in virtue, as well as lead in scandal and decadence.

As sexual perversion is common in society, and is ignored by the Church, it will thus be amplified within the ranks of the priesthood - as we see now.

The good new is - if the Church finds the strength to take a fearless (and decidedly politically incorrect and difficult) stance on homosexuality and sexual since, it will also eventually lead society to a great renewal and reformation.

The elephant in the room is that the homosexual community has infested the RC clergy. It is a huge number. But our modern society is protecting the gay lifestyle. If you say a word about them, you are publicly labelled homophobic. And when that happens public figures such as politicians, government people at any level, owners of a successful businesses, etc. have their careers ruined.

Watch carefully, you will see there will be a full court press to make the homosexual pedophiles, the victims. Honesty about homosexuals is forbidden.

I agree and have been saying this all along. We in this country have accepted lots of things, but sexual abuse of minors, not yet. Although I think there are those pushing that agenda covertly now. A recent study shows that 90% of TV shows have scenes were minors are being exposed to sexual discussion, imagery, etc. In 10 or so years, there will be an attempt to lower the statutory rape age from 18 to 15 or 16, etc. Just watch.

So the media right now can play the pedophile card, even though strictly speaking it is ephebophile with homosexuality as the majority of abuses. THis is there way of protecting homosexuals, one of there pet protected classes.

150 Parishes in the Buffalo Diocese. 100 homosex predators.
That means there was/is a homosex predator in 2/3rds of the churches. And that is only the ones that made it to the church archives.
Truly, as Jesus said: Satan is “the ruler of this world” (John 12:31)

Homosexuals have permeated the Catholic Church. They will never voluntarily or gracefully release their vile grip. It is their intent to discard three millennium of Judeo-Christian consensus that condemns this moral abomination. They will try to the end to alter Church doctrine and teaching to be consistent with the hedonistic narrative now being propagated in Western secular societies regarding homosexuality. Pope “who am I to judge” Francis will do nothing to stop them.

Since it seems the only punishment the church doles out for pederasty is to enjoy an early retirement, why not retire anyone accused? It's not like they suffer and I don't want anyone who might be a molester near vulnerable people. If some innocent priests get caught up in that, well, I guess since the vatican decided to systematically cover this crap up for 30 years running it might take some extreme action to regain trust.

[[the strengths or weaknesses of the Church are amplified with respect to society at large.]]

That is because this world is the domain of Satan- and His minions, those who are unsaved, hate God and everyone associated with God- and they lust for any and all chances to villify the church- Yes the scandal is very serious- but I’m talking about other issues which the worldly unsaved folks jump on and magnify in their efforts to vilify and demean God and His people- the world looks on intensely- waiting with baitesd breath for any slip up

As you said=- any weaknesses to do with any church that isn’t liberal is magnified by the God hating servants of Satan

[[if the Church finds the strength to take a fearless (and decidedly politically incorrect and difficult) stance]]

a BIG IF- the church should have immediately come out very strongly in favor of the victims, and made it absolutely certain that the church was not going to tolerate these abominations in the realm of religious service- ever! They should have immediately taken a very serious, very strong position on the issue instead of covering it up for so long-

pepsi_junkie:

Depends where they retire, hopefully they are sent in some monastery away from everyone to live out a life of solitary confinement and penance. If they are not laicized and the courts can’t indict tem due to statute of limitations, then those that are forced to retire have to go somewhere. I would rather them in confinement in the mountains somewhere than in the public on the loose.

coments liek the following are NOT helping the church one bit:

Matt Walsh: Pope said sex abuse victims are ‘Great Accuser’ Satan, scandalizing bishops

Matt Walsh comments below:

“I guess he’s saying that the people who are accusing the bishops are Satan, and also the faithful Catholics who are demanding answers, I guess we are also in league with Satan. That appears to be what the Pope is insinuating and I find it to be absolutely horrific,” he added.

What if the reverse is true? Society may reflect the problems in the church. The following passage seems to suggest this.

2 Chronicles 7:14 If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

Yep.

An article posted of FR a few weeks ago said that Stalin had a direct hand in flooding the Church clergy with homosexuals.

Makes sense but I need to research it further.

The Church has been the keystone in the arch of Judeo Christian Western civilization for 2 millenia.

If the Church crumbles then the arch collapses and this is the goal of the communists, the left, globalists and islam.
