The one the mainstream media completed buried was the fact that Bermuda repealed gay marriage AFTER making it legal. Goes against their talking about countries having gay marriage is “inevitable” and once gay marriage is enacted, its now “settled law” and no one would dare repeal that and “disenfranchise” lots of “happy” gay couples.
Apparently the repeal (and replace with domestic partnerships) left “marriages” that were already performed in place.
Still, libs sued and the Supreme Court (sigh) overturned the ban, ruling stayed pending Government appeal. Hearing in November. How to do you appeal a Supreme Court ruling you ask? Well Bermuda is like NY in that the “Supreme” Court is in fact the regular court with the Court of Appeal above it.
