My husband (USMC ret) says that the insanity of it all was to get shaken down to see if you had a gun and then he’d get on base and be in charge of an M249 with live ammunition.
DC’s gun laws are SOOO STUPID. We in the Free States can’t understand such idiocy, but you are not even allowed to possess even a single SPENT CASE of ammunition for a gun that isn’t registered in your name in DC. People have been arrested for a single spent 12-gauge hull.
But David Gregory was not areested and prosecuted after being filmed holding an illegal rifle magazine while in DC.
