Dianne Feinstein Prepares a Deathblow for Kavanaugh; Will It Work?
American Thinker ^ | 09/13/2018 | Tom Trinko

Posted on 09/14/2018 7:03:30 AM PDT by SeekAndFind

Yesterday, Democrat Senator Dianne Feinstein claimed that an anonymous woman may have accused Brett Kavanaugh of doing something in high school.

While the fake news media are having a field day, the truth is that only two Democrats have seen the letter, the person who wrote the letter is refusing to come forward, and we haven't been told what the letter claims, but we have been told that it dates back to when Kavanaugh was in high school.

I'm so old that I remember when people like Feinstein were telling us that Obama's regular, and criminal, use of drugs in high school was no big deal. But now some anonymous accuser is claiming that Kavanaugh may have done something during high school, and leftists are beside themselves at the horror of it all.

Actually, I'm even older than that. I remember when Feinstein told us Clinton's lying under oath in order to avoid losing a #MeToo lawsuit had nothing to do with his fitness to be president. She did say Clinton's actions were "immoral, deplorable, and indefensible" and merited "strong condemnation and censure." Given that she voted to acquit Clinton, it would seem that Feinstein believes that being guilty of immoral, deplorable, and indefensible things has no bearing on a person's suitability to be president.

But, apparently, anonymous sources claiming undefined things are enough to cause Feinstein to be even more upset at Kavanaugh.

There are actually several things going on here.

The most obvious is that as usual, leftists are resorting to character assassination when the facts don't support their point of view. The Democrats are trying to smear Kavanaugh – just as the racist Democrats tried to smear Justice Thomas because he didn't stay on the Democrats' thought plantation – with baseless charges.

Since she has been on China’s payroll for something like 30 years, could someone take a moment to dig into her finances?

Can Diane determine if the writer was also Bill Clinton’s humidor?

Even Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg is openly saying that this partisanship has gone too far.

Given her advanced years one should not use the word “death” and “Feinstein” in the same sentence

The details of that claim are laughable. Were DiFi not retiring she would never have risked her credibility on this Hail Mary pass.

Someone with Trumps stones needs to step up at the hearings and ask old Diane about her Chinese spy.

Her motive is corrupt. The information is three decades old and she has had it for weeks on top of that. I call this Bull Sierra (BS). You should too.

Apparently not, as Kavanaughs odds of confirmation on the betting sites is right back where it was before the big "bombshell" yesterday (around 90/10 for confirmation). And the story has seemed to run it's course and fall off the news sites (hurricane probably helped there).

It also probably helped that the FBI was quick to dismiss the letter as nothing criminal. Supposedly from people who have seen the letter the accusation was that back in high school at a school sanctioned after school event Kavanaugh and a couple friends locked a girl in a room and wouldn't let her out, however the fire door was unlocked so she went out that. The letter goes on to say that the women said she never felt threatened and nothing else happened, but years latter because "troubled" by the episode.

Truly, grasping at straws in a vain attempt to Bork Judge Kavanaugh. This old bigoted hag should be reprimanded by the Senate, but the GOP members of that rotted body don’t have the guts. They just want to get home and lie to the voters about what great things they have done under the leadership of Mr. Turtlehead.

The U.S. Senate has been degraded since 1913, when the Seventeeth Amendment gutted its Constitutional purpose, which was to guard the interests of the states.

Retiring? I thought she was running for reelection and worried about a far leftist primary challenger.

Federal background investigations have been done on Kavanaugh at least 3 times previously because of various jobs he’s held in the past.

Judge Kavanaugh has never been denied a security clearance.
This means investigators have never uncovered this information previously or if was uncovered it did not warrant a denial of a security clearance.

This thing conjured up by Feinstein is completely bogus.

So not even “sexual” in nature then. Wow- we used to “penny” people into their dorm room - jam pennies between the door and frame so the latch wouldn’t work - guess I’m not Supreme Court material

This is likely to manufacture an excuse for McCaskill, Manchin, and other Red State Dems to vote nay.
