To me a two state solution would be the dumbest move the Israelis could make.
Too have the fraudulent so- called Palestinians legitimized, and having a legitimate Muslim state next door is a recipe for a Muslim "Hudna" that will last until the Muslims can overwhelm the Jews. - Tom

I think you're being a little too harsh. The Germans merely want to keep the lines of communication open. For example, here we see a former German leader having a little chat with the very anti-Semitic Grand Mufti of Jerusalem
Perhaps this German leader (I forget his name) is trying to convince the Grand Mufti to behave himself.
