ATLANTA (CBS46) - The latest poll has Republican Brian Kemp and Democrat Stacey Abrams in a statistical dead heat in the race for Governor of Georgia.
The big poll -- who likely voters would vote for -- shows it's a tie, for now, so we asked two strategists to look at what the related polling results show to gauge where the race is going.
Kemp and Abrams may be polling neck-and-neck in the latest UGA Survey Research Center Poll for WSB-TV, but Gov. Nathan Deal is casting a long shadow.
Democratic strategist Tharon Johnson said he's not surprised at the fact that the margin between both candidates is 0.4 percent.
"We've seen similar polls four years ago," said Tharon Johnson.

Modern polling is not predictive, it is building a scenario favored by the pollster. It is meant to encourage those the pollster supports. It is designed to demoralize those the pollster disfavors. It seeks to grant permission to those who are persuadable, to support those who the pollster favors.
All polls report this way. Nobody ever beats a Democrat until election day.

A “tie” is not good for Stacey Abrams as the Urinal Constipation(AJC) rigs it in favor of the Democrats. She should be at least 6% with it rigged this much..

I live in ga and this poll had to have been taken in Atlanta. I tefuse to take this ppll as legit. The woman is a heavy left dem.
Jimmy Carter is going to be campaigning for Abrams. Jimmy couldn’t get his grandson elected four years ago.
