Strzok-Page texts calling to 'open' case in 'chargeable way' under fresh scrutiny

Text messages from disgraced FBI figures Peter Strzok and Lisa Page, discussing whether to open a "case" in a "formal chargeable way" after Director James Comey was fired, are under fresh scrutiny after Page told congressional investigators there was no evidence of Russian collusion at the time, according to three congressional sources.

Two hours after Comey's termination became public on May 9, 2017, Strzok, a now-former FBI agent, texted Page, his then-colleague and lover: "We need to open the case we've been waiting on now while Andy is acting."

"Andy" is a reference to then-Deputy Director Andrew McCabe who temporarily took over the bureau until Christopher Wray was confirmed as director in August 2017.

Page, a former FBI attorney, replied to Strzok: "We need to lock in (redacted). In a formal chargeable way. Soon."

Who was driving all of this?

Hussein Obama may have told Rosenstein who told ..,.. but it will all wind up in Hussein’s lap as more info comes out.

It is the reason Hussein Obama was talking about political prosecutions in Illinois last week. Hussein is getting very nervous about him being named again. An earlier released Strzok/Page email mentioned POTUS was following the Trump surveillance case.

They just need one of the bit players to fold for the story to bounce to the Oval Office. Hussein in GITMO would bring a smile to many faces

Bullseye! You nailed it.

Donald Trump is going to do all he can to get that putrid bastard and bring him and Hitlery and others to justice.

Something needs to start happening. They have a mountain of evidence and we just hear about it and nothing happens. It’s time.

“Something needs to start happening. They have a mountain of evidence and we just hear about it and nothing happens. It’s time.”

What should happen?

Locking them up would only make them heroes and martyrs to the Left - not to mention they would just get pardoned anyway.

On top of that, a majority of the American people would immediately write off Donald Trump as a heavy-handed, authoritarian, over-reaching brute.

The bitter truth is that it’s pointless and counterproductive for a POTUS to try and lock up political opposition leaders - even when they richly deserve it.

I don’t blame Trump for dismissing this option out of hand - which is clearly what he has done. I admit his “because you’d be in jail” comment ranks as the best debate zinger of all time - but has he shown any sign at all of following through on that?

None whatsoever.

Why people here keep harping on it, I just don’t understand. Do they want Trump to commit political suicide with nothing to show for it?

Trump is just not interested in throwing Obama or any of his co-conspirators in jail - get used to it folks.

And it’s not because he is weak - it’s because he has a brain in his head.

Maybe off topic, but my not-guilty meter has been going off since I saw video of her walking into the Senate hearing rooms. She's a lot hotter than the "private detective" pics we've been seeing...

Is it wrong to feel this way? Does treason override the not-guilty meter?
