Why is anyone here giving any credence to her accusations against Kavanaugh? Stop letting Leftists write the battle plan. Even if such an incident occurred there is no reason to believe that the offender in question was Kavanaugh. He denies it. The other person accused denies it. There are numerous character witnesses who cast serious doubts about the likelihood of such behavior by Kavanaugh. The accusations are over thirty five years old and lack details that would independently confirm her account. That is a big stink served on a malodorous tray with a side of political stench.
The reply to her claims should at the very least assume her memory is faulty. To me there is a strong possibility she is outright lying. What she believes might have happened has no bearing when it cannot even be shown anything happened at all.
It is essential that the kid gloves be taken off when questioning her. That she has been able to conflate a claim that amounts to drunken misbehavior by a minor 35 years ago into a attempted rape means the response to her accusations have not been handled correctly. We (Conservatives) have the self harming inclination to bring out playful puppies when we should be unleashing a pitbull or two. It is a big mistake and we better learn from it real soon.

There is a reason we have courts, laws and rules of evidence. There are some very disturbed and deceitful people out there. I recall a woman in college dating my friend. Cute as a button. Wore a fake cast and doctored her brother’s arm xray report to pretend she was undergoing radiation therapy for cancer. Had all her professors convinced. When my friend had a fight with her she called his parents and said he was on his way to her house with a rifle to shoot her. Too many stories to tell but he later read she died young, he thinks of AIDS. They are out there and that’s why allegations are not proof.
