Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley on Tuesday raised the possibility that next week’s high-stakes open hearing to examine the sexual assault allegation against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh could be canceled if the accuser doesn’t accept the committee’s invitation.
Grassley, R-Iowa, scheduled a hearing for Monday for Kavanaugh and accuser Christine Blasey Ford to answer questions from senators about the allegation. But Grassley said during a Tuesday radio interview that his office has reached out several times to Ford and her attorneys to discuss her allegation, but has heard nothing back.

Grassley should announce if by Wednesday the invitation to testify is not answered, the vote will be on Thursday.
Because she needs more time to be “coached up” on her lies.
Dems don’t care; either way whether she accepted or refused they’d call for a delay.
She has been ordered by democrat central to delay, delay, until around Nov 5 or 6.
Then she’ll get the reward they promised her.

Because they are playing games. They want an FBI investigation to delay everything. The woman and her handlers are not honest and this is ridiculous. He should be confirmed whether she testifies or not and with Feinstein and this woman playing around with the process, they absolutely should confirm him and stop this side show. An accusation doesn’t mean a person should be rejected.

If these charges against Kavanaugh are so damning as to derail his SCOTUS nomination, then he should be immediately removed from the DC Court of Appeals too, right?
If Kavanaugh is a rapist that makes him unfit for the Supreme Court, shouldn't he be unfit for the court he sits on now?
We should demand that everyone who is questioning Kavanaugh's confirmation publicly state their support for removing Kavanaugh from the DC Circuit Court. If they refuse to do so, they are admitting that the charge against Kavanaugh is not credible.
How can we have one character standard for the Supreme Court, and allow lesser character for the lower courts? It's okay to attempt rape if you're a lower court judge, but that disqualifies you from the Supreme Court?
Who is going to go on record to take the destruction of Kavanaugh to the next step based on this one questionable accusation? Their silence on that question should tell everyone all we need to know about what they think.

Grassley should issue an ultimatum that if she does not accept by 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, the whole thing is canceled and the Thursday vote is back on.

Why would the FBI investigate a “crime” that has no evidence and the accuser admits she told nobody before 2012 and the accused - two of them - deny it happened?
And it’s past the statute of limitations.
And he’s already been through six FBI deep investigations.
What’s to investigate?
That is exactly right, she wants to do her civic duty, let’s get it on. Again, the Democrats are holding the American people hostage until they can get their suicide bomber ready to put on the vest and push the button. And the republicans will wait until it is convenient for the bomber.
