Decades of 'Fancy meeting you here!' for Gorsuch, Kavanaugh
Daily Herald ^ | 8.24.2018 | Jessica Gresko

Posted on 09/18/2018 9:43:35 PM PDT by libh8er

Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh first crossed paths over plates of beef stroganoff, shepherd's pie and chicken cubes in a thick, yellow sauce. They weren't business meals. They shared lunch period at their elite private high school.

Now, the two may dine together for decades, this time at the Supreme Court. If Kavanaugh is confirmed following hearings in September, he will join his fellow Trump nominee at the high court, where tradition is that justices lunch together on days when they hear arguments.

Gorsuch and Kavanaugh's bonds go well beyond a common conservative ideology and their days at the all-boys Georgetown Preparatory School, just 11 miles (18 kilometers) from the Supreme Court's marble halls. They clerked together at the Supreme Court, became federal appeals court judges the same year, served together on a judicial committee and co-wrote, along with several others, a book about precedent.

When Gorsuch was sworn in last year, Kavanaugh attended a ceremony for him at the Supreme Court. Kavanaugh has said they're friends, noting they've known each other "seemingly forever."

The pair wouldn't be the first friends to serve together on the Supreme Court. Sometimes those friendships have flourished. Other times, after working together, friends have had fallings-out.

I’m surprised that Dr. Ford didn’t say that Gorsuch was also at the party...or did she?

She could have said Neil and Brett tried to gang rape her.

Interesting story, especially since the unconfirmed report came out that the loony accuser had sent an earlier letter claiming Gorsuch had attacked her in exactly the same way.

There’s a rumor that Ford sent a similar letter about Gorsuch and that’s why DiFi delayed using it.

Remember, her “counselor notes” said she was attacked by several men who are now very powerful in Washington, D.C.

The notes did NOT mention Kav by name.

The only source I can find it a tweet by Jim Hoft of Gateway Pundit (bombshell if true....) and he's not the best source for "bombshells".

Are there other sources for the claim Ford tried this on Gorsuch?

I haven’t found any other sources. It’s probably best to think of this as a hopeful thought for now. Who knows? Maybe some disgruntled secretary will pull it out of storage.

If Ford sent it to the same people, especially Feinstein, it was probably shredded the moment the newer letter was read. They should subpoena Feinstein’s records and whoever else in her office handles them. Maybe her personal Chinese spy overheard something.

It’s not that big of a surprise these two would know each other going back that far. I bet their parents ran in the same circles. Yes, some people are born into families who groom their children to excel, can that really be a surprise? I bet we all wish we had such a leg up even if we would have squandered it to carve a different path.

Neither one of these men squandered their potential or opportunities though. They worked and studied hard to get where they are today. Anyone who can’t respect that has no respect for an honest work ethic.

I’m not surprised.

Georgetown Prep is an elite school and people there know each other.

Not news Gorsuch and Kavanaugh ran in the same circles.

I was there. He stuffed a sandwich into his pants, ate a plate of Jello without paying for it, filled his mouth with mashed potatoes, then came to my table and screamed, "WHAT AM I? A ZIT!" He then punched his own cheeks, spewing potatoes everywhere. Horrifying. I told my therapist about it five years ago.

https://news.iheart.com/featured/rush-limbaugh/content/2018-09-18-rush-limbaugh-blog-two-rumors-that-could-be-fake-news-but-ring-true/

RUSH: Okay, folks. I want to share some things with you that may be fake news, but if they’re not fake, I want to be on record as having had them for you. There’s a Twitter thread out there. I have no idea the veracity because, as you know, I do not “twit.” But this particular thread claims that the reason that Dianne Feinstein was reluctant to go public with Christine Blasey Ford’s letter is because she received a similar letter from the woman about Judge Gorsuch. No idea whether this is fake news or true.

But given who we’re talking about here, I can believe that it would be true, ‘cause I think we’re dealing with genuinely disturbed, emotionally depraved, poisoned-with-hatred lunatics. I have no idea if it’s true. There’s another bit of news going around that has a little bit more credibility but still it doesn’t pass the “definitely happened” test. It is that Peter Strzok Smirk and Lisa Page were caught destroying evidence on their final days at the FBI. Neither two bits of news can be confirmed. But let me tell you something.

The New York Times and the Washington Post and USA Today and all the rest of them are publishing fake news and lies every damn day without one bit of concern whether they’re true or not, and half of them they didn’t even bother to correct. And it’s not something normally that I get into. But these two things have the tinge of believability to them, and I just want to get them out there in case it eventuates that they’re actually true. I can’t confirm either one.

But you know, I’m sick and tired of being hampered here. These people get to lie and distort and do whatever they want under the banner of premier journalism each and every day, making up sources, making up quotes, writing such things as, “President Trump, without evidence, today claimed” blah, blah. But they never say, “Christine Blasey Ford, without evidence, claimed today that Brett Kavanaugh pinned her down in a high school room in a house and so forth 42 years ago when they both were...” Who knows.

Supposedly, the Kavanaghs and the Blaseys ran in the same circles as well.

From what I have read, both families were prominent members of the country club set in Bethesda.

How Orwellian. Why is it that our Left often seems to view 1984 as an operations manual, and not a warning?
