Fear Itself

It doesn’t take a pithy aphorism from Sun-Tzu to know that understanding the enemy is crucial to engaging in battle and ultimately achieving victory.

Even the most cynical and experienced political participant or observer must, in the quiet moments, still marvel at the absolute mendacity and childishness from Democrats in general, Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee and especially Dianne Feinstein – already a very old fool who now looks even more foolish.

But while their tactics and ludicrous statements and actions – as always, amplified to deafening levels by a high-tech propaganda organ posing as a free press - may infuriate, it is necessary to set anger aside to properly analyze what is happening.

To wit: this is all they’ve got. Abortion, that is. Even its supporters and practitioners concede it’s a barbaric procedure. What may have been out of sight, out of mind stuff in 1960 or even 1973 in the year of Roe v Wade due to contemporary medical technology ie imaging has been made archaic and irrelevant in the age of 3-D full-motion ultrasound. It’s a living being, full stop. Even a Kermit Gosnell would say so. If you listen closely (difficult though it may be) you don’t hear the ‘viable tissue’ nonsense coming from the NARAL types because they have been gazzumped by technology. Their medical arguments have been rendered null and void so they are down to clutching at rhetorical straws. ‘Right to choose’ is still their fave but ‘women’s reproductive rights’ is in the charts (even though reproduction is the last thing on their minds) and ‘women’s health care’ is another preferred euphemism (even though there is nothing healthy about killing and about violent surgical intervention in a natural process).

But this isn’t really a discussion of abortion per se. It’s a discussion of strategy. The statist political faction always droning on about ‘the right side of history’ are actually on a horrific losing streak. History, world events, economic patterns and most other aspects of life have demonstrated that Marxism/socialism/communism is a lie. A deadly lie. Not only does it fail no matter how small or big the implementation, it also enslaves, starves and kills before, during and after the ‘revolution.’ Nations around the world, including so-called committed communist nations (China) have turned to capitalism even if they frequently twist it out of shape. No serious person believes central planning, distribution, etc. can work better than market forces. Persons in all developed nations have actively abandoned or rejected mass media. Persons in developed nations are starting to actively reject and oppose mass immigration from the Third World having watched their own nation or their neighbors and allies become lawless and dangerous to say nothing of the crippling financial cost.

The list goes on and on. Dems are out of ideas and aren’t interested in new ones because there really aren’t any apart from keeping a death grip on power – often via bureaucracies – the latest incarnation being the Deep State.

Being out of ideas ie issues is problematic for office holders but even more problematic for candidates. Hatred of a president who upset the apple cart does not, despite media histrionics, necessarily translate into votes. Collectivists, understandably, think in terms of groups and can’t resist counting their bridges before they cross them. The Clintons, in particular, were forever doing the sums and saying what they thought needed to be said to win by a single vote if necessary. It won two terms for Bill but Hillary, Mook et al relied on the outdated method (despite the technological trappings) and it failed them badly.

What unifying force remains for a party of cynical, craving, grasping chancers? Abortion. They believe it has bipartisan appeal among women, especially among younger women who a) have not yet become mothers and b) have been steeped in feminist dogma. Dems claim to be Moses leading women away from their fate of childbearing slavery and upholding their ‘right to choose.’

They know Roe is a horrible case and decision. They call it a ‘Constitutional protection’ even though it isn’t. They know that many, even most, states would enact some form of pro-abortion law the day after Roe was overturned. Citing Roe is a feint. A ruse. A distraction. These are cornered animals. Mean and desperate but, fortunately, quite predictable. Despite talk of this or that shrinking GOP voting bloc it is the Democrats who see their traditional hotels on their traditional Monopoly properties vanishing or being mortgaged or sold.

They are scared out of their wits – which is why they behave in such witless fashion.

You misspelled "gazzumped".

Also, I believe you have underestimated the lure of free feces, particularly college, and legalization as powerful motivators for the DemonRatz.
