A third high school student Brett Kavanaugh accuser Christine Blasey Ford claimed attended a party more than 35 years ago where the future Judge Kavanaugh attacked her denied any memory of the alleged incident in a letter to the Senate Judiciary Committee, CNN reported Tuesday. CNN obtained a letter from Patrick J. Smyth, a Georgetown Prep alum who graduated in Kavanaugh’s class, to Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-IA) and ranking Democrat Dianne Feinstein (D-CA). The letter was penned after Ford apparently identified Smyth as “PJ” – another teenager who was one of around five people at a drunken gathering in a Montgomery County, Maryland, home in or around 1982.
“I understand that I have been identified by Dr. Christine Blasey Ford as the person she remembers as ‘PJ’ who supposedly was present at the party she described in her statements to the Washington Post,” the letter, penned by Smyth’s attorney, Eric Bruce, reads. “I am issuing this statement today to make it clear to all involved that I have no knowledge of the party in question; nor do I have any knowledge of the allegations of improper conduct she has leveled against Brett Kavanaugh.”
Smyth remains Kavanaugh’s friend and had already written to the Senate Judiciary Committee in support of his nomination to the Supreme Court, calling him “singularly qualified to be an Associate Justice on the U.S. Supreme Court” in a letter co-authored by Georgetown Prep classmates of Kavanaugh.

At some level, this is getting funny.
She named the people who were witnesses and every one of them has contradicted her.
Anyone with a brain and GOP senators should recognize this as one thing only; A POLITICAL HIT. As such, they should act accordingly and not fall prey to The Dem scandalous obfuscations and attempts to deceive us from this reality.
So, of course Grassley should not have hearing if the accuser does not want to personally share her information. The accuser has no rights to “demand” anything other than a private hearing. This whole “FBI Investigation” crap is just that, a sh*tty attempt to delay, let’s not play these childish games.
Who was the other girl at the “party”? I am surprised she hasn’t mention her name. If she can remember and name the boys, why hasn’t she named the other girl? Or maybe there was no other girl and none of this actually happened?

Do Corker and Flake really need to hear her to decide how they will vote?
I give Corker credit, he's on the record saying if she doesn't testify then they should vote and he will support Kavanaugh.
I wonder where Ford’s contemporaries are.

Pretty soon, they’ll hold a televised seance with Feinstein asking the spirits to knock on the table to support her.

Save the anguish its put on Judge Kavanaugh and his family I’ve found the whole thing funny as well. Kavanaugh is going to be confirmed, but I think this experience will have changed him a bit. I’m hoping the left has minted us a fresh new Justice Thomas. Way to go leftys.

Yes and no. The Leftists have mastered the use of what I call “strategic failure”, where the disruption caused by their accusations or proposed legislation is the real goal. Success is irrelevant.
This accusation is in every way ludicrous, but that doesn’t matter. They’ve still managed to delay the vote by a few days, and perhaps given some cover to RINOs who don’t really want a constitutionally sound SCOTUS.
The FBI would never in a million years investigate something like this, it’s not even in their jurisdiction. Nevertheless the endless calls for an FBI investigation will fuel proclamations of anti-woman bias and coverup.
It is almost funny, but it’s also a “Credible Accusation™”

1.Her story now does not match up with previously alleged assertions (2 boys, 4 boys?)
2. She can now be identified as a definite partisan as opposed to just a likely one. (Financial support of Democrat activist causes)
3. Blatant and dubious memory lapses concerning date, time, location,and host.)
4. Accused was never named in 36 years prior to being nominated for SCOTUS.
5. Lie detector data is notoriously unreliable hence it’s being barred from being used as evidence against any accused.
6.Demonstable inconsistencies in declared motivation, prior statements and 36 year behavioral history of alleged victim.
Too just name a few.
Add, all witnesses thus far have refuted het claims.
First there are four boys and two girls. Now there are “about” five people at the party. Which is it?
If there was another girl it was her girlfriend. l15 year old girls in search of adventure never travel alone. At least I’ve never seen it.
This woman is lying through her teeth.
The high comedy aspect went to plaid when Hillary apparently suggested an accuser should get the benefit of the doubt.
The women who dared accuse her Bill surely never got that.
