I've been through the process of Senate advise-and-consent confirmation, including an FBI background investigation, and must warn Professor Christine Blasey to be careful what she wishes for:
A woman who has accused President Donald Trump's Supreme Court nominee, Brett Kavanaugh, of sexual assault decades ago wants her allegations to be investigated by the FBI before she appears at a U.S. Senate hearing, her lawyers said on Tuesday.
As President Trump noted, Judge Kavanaugh has been through the FBI wringer six times:
"He is one of the great intellects and one of the finest people that anybody has known. You look at his references – I've never seen anything quite like it," he said. "The FBI has I think gone through a process six times with him over the years where he went to higher and higher positions. He is somebody very special."
Because Senator Feinstein waited until the very last minute to bring up this serious charge, the FBI would be faced with what is called "raw" information in the FBI advise-and-consent vetting process.
I suspect that Senator Feinstein wanted to trigger a full FBI field investigation on this "raw" information, which could then have tied up the process for some time, but she thankfully failed. Professor Ford, Senator Feinstein, and all associated with this had better understand the potential power of what they were and still are trying to bring down on themselves by calling in the FBI for an investigation.
If the FBI ends up engaged, then the awesome 21st-century surveillance state technology can be employed. The ability to capture all electronic information can bring the disinfectant of sunshine to the issue.

It would be interesting to check this lady’s (I use the term loosely) financial records to see who is paying for her attorney. Not her for sure, and I bet she will get a big payoff for this. I’d also see a transcript of the questions from the polygraph exam.
The strategy appeared to be to hope that Kavanaugh would quit or Trump would withdraw him.

The Senate should send Robert Mueller to investigate. He would end up indicting the manager of Trump’s hotel at Union Station for bank fraud.
She should recall that lying to the FBI has put lots of people in jail.
She has also destroyed her social media, which is evidence of something to hide and might be recoverable by the FBI. Her emails, and the possible prior letter about Gorsuch, would also be recoverable from the NSA. Feinstein would know all that. So their game now is to not testify, but try to get delay from the stupid Republicans. They want to demand an FBI investigation without actually getting one.
Her attorney is a Soros shill, that fact is already established.
They are demanding an fbi investigation so that democrats running in red states can say “I didn’t vote for kavanaugh because we requested an investigation and republicans refused to give us that investigation in an effort to cover up the crimes of kavanaugh”. They reason that If they didn’t have such an excuse, then they would likely lose their seat, but if they have an excuse, then they have a chance to retain their seat- They are deluded- and evil
I hope what happens to her is a warning to other useful idiots who want to play hardball for the liberal cause of the day.
And hopefully she’s smart enough to see, that she was simply a useful idiot; hopefully her personal liberalism doesn’t block out all common sense she hopefully has.
She will be ok. She’s famous now. She will go on The View soon and talk with Whoopi Goldberg. She will have a book ghost written for her, and that will be a best seller. She might even get higher level teaching gigs , since she’s already a college teacher.

Well I like to look for ‘evidence’ of preparations taken by Dr. Christine Ford ‘before’ she stepped forward. It is very interesting we see only ‘one’ adult photo of her behind sun glasses on line... the few others are of high school and grade school. So this has certainly been an orchestrated and very well planned effort by her and those protecting her.
There’s lots of reasons to believe this is a political hit ...and as usual rather than expose her they are certainly going to great lengths to shield her.....
If they’re going to go back to teenage years to do ‘investigations’ then lets do likewise for all of Slick Willey Clintons victims.

This was all about delay and dirt. Just like Clarence Thomas, he will forever be smeared with this accusation. it will be in his obituary.
If the Dems could have delayed a couple more weeks, the argument would be to wait until after the election. In any event, they will use this for fundraising—as Liz Warren has already done.

Which is exactly why they want the FBI to investigate.....open that door you can be sure the FBI will create yet another crime as the FBI’s history reveals they do just that.
