California Gov. Jerry Brown ramped up his criticism of President Trump in an interview that aired Monday – calling the president a “saboteur” in the fight to combat climate change and saying that “something’s got to happen to this guy.”
Speaking to MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell at an environmental summit in San Francisco last week, Brown tore into Trump for the president’s controversial tweets about the death toll in Puerto Rico from last year’s Hurricane Maria and urged voters to vote for Democrats in November’s midterm elections in an effort to thwart Trump’s agenda.
“We never had a president who was engaged in this kind of behavior,” Brown said. “I mean he’s not telling the truth; he keeps changing his mind; he’s sabotaging the world order in many respects.”
Brown added: “It’s unprecedented, it’s dangerous, and hopefully this election is going to send a strong message to the country; the Democrats will win…something’s got to happen to this guy, because if we don’t get rid of him, he’s going to undermine America and even the world."

California Gov. Jerry Brown on Friday said his state will launch its own satellite in a bid to combat climate change, following up on a promise he made after the election of President Trump.
“We’re going to launch our own satellite — our own damn satellite to figure out where the pollution is and how we’re going to end it,” Brown told the audience at the Global Climate Action Summit in San Francisco.
The Golden State will work with San Francisco-based Planet Labs to launch a satellite that would track climate-change-causing pollutants. The company has already launched 150 satellites, Brown said.
“In California, with science under attack, in fact we’re under attack by a lot of people, including Donald Trump, but the climate threat still keeps growing,” Brown added. “So, we want to know, what the hell is going on all over the world, all the time?”
The outgoing governor, who will leave at the end of the year and will be replaced by Democrat Lt. Gov. Gavin Newsom or Republican businessman John Cox, didn’t divulge any how much it will cost the state to undergo a space-related project that is generally done by the federal government.

All Trump has to do to get on Brown’s good side is to propose a high speed rail line to the moon. If Trump made it a monorail, he could call it a “Moonbeam.”

Well, let’s hope something happens to the sickly Gov. Brown first. He has brought California to the brink of bankruptcy with his high speed train lunacy and has done nothing but think of new ways to tax the populace.

Bloviating rhetoric. What Moonbeam meant to say is Trump is doing all the right things to dismantle 8 torturous years under an obamanation. All the right indicators are up. Our allies respect us again instead of walking all over us and using us as a free cash machine. Our enemies respect us again and North Korea is on a path to peace and denuking. ISIS is crushed and the Middle East is rebuilding. The weaponized EPA is no longer the out of control tank it was and neither is the public school system although there’s still a lot of work to be done there. Our military is rebuilding huge moral improvements and our Southern Border problem is getting the attention it deserves. Hopefully immigration reform, in a good way, and a solid wall will get built within the next 2 years.
It just goes on and on from there. Of course if you’re an America-hating communist dirt bag then these positive developments may not sound so great. For those, um, people; I invite them to get on the next bus, train, plane, or automobile out of my country because they are not wanted here.
