Clean House: If there was ever any need for further proof that President Donald Trump should clean out all senior members of the Justice Department, this should do it. That is, if it’s true.
A bombshell report in The New York Times claims that Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein once offered to secretly record POTUS Trump inside the Oval Office while wanting to “recruit” top Trump administration officials to get rid of the president via the 25th Amendment — a majority of Cabinet members voting for removal.
The Times says that Rosenstein shared those plans with “other Justice Department and FBI officials,” who of course gave the paper their details anonymously.

There is no more excuses to not fire him. Failure to do so is ceding the power of the President over the executive branch to the DOJ. The President literally has no other option.
That means there was an attempted coup.
That means prison time!

It does not matter if it's true or not. The mere possibility that it could be true ( and it most likely is) leaves the President no option but to remove Rosenstein and anyone else that even appears to be involved. The American people cannot be in doubt as to who is in charge of this governments executive branch. The President was elected by the people, Rosenstein was not.
