Christine Blasey Ford, who has accused Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexual assault, has requested another day to decide whether to testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee, according to a letter from her attorney sent Friday night just before a 10 p.m. deadline.

There was no deadline. Grassley is forced to say yes cause he’s playing a game he can’t win. Schedule the vote Wednesday or Thursday and vote, that ends it.
I’m gonna go out on a limb - Blasey-Ford is a complete fiction created by Feinstein.
Has she ever been photographed? Why aren’t reporters camped outside her house? No one except Feinstein’s cronies have even seen her. Her “letter” still hasn’t even been revealed. Media comments from “friends and relatives” are simply that - printed statements made in the friendly leftist media.
There was no intent for Blasey-Ford to appear - as she doesn’t exist. And once the vote is taken on Monday and Kavanaugh is confirmed, she will never be heard from again.
Carlson was saying tonight that because of complicated rules, if the vote doesn’t happen on thursaday- it’s never goign to happen, and republicans won’t likely get another chance at filling seat- not sure how he came to that conclusion- i didn’t listen carefully, but it is very apparent that the left are tryign to postpone the vote for political voctory-
Ya and then Saturday they will say It will be only on these terms then Grassley is forced to counter offer again. He needs to schedule the vote, and quit putting deadlines that any lawyer will tell you can be ignored. Fords lawyers could wait until Wednesday morning and suddenly say she will testify and Grassley would be forced to allow it.

Not exactly completely fictitious, more like one of the legions of addled “activists” who sends a letter recounting an unpleasant experience she thinks MIGHT have happened in order to smear someone she used to know. And certainly not expecting a senile old coot like DiFi would make a literal federal case out of it.
