This way they can’t say Grassley didn’t bend over backwards to accommodate the accuser. More than half of the voters in this country are women and a percentage of men consider themselves feminists. This is a political minefield and the Republicans (including the president) are doing a good job so far of navigating it. Plus, how we handle this vacancy will influence how we do on the next 2 or 3.

My wife doesn’t believe her. I don’t know about yours. We’re a few years older than that group. I graduated high school in 1978, my wife in 1981. But politics is based a lot on percentages. You need a percentage of this group, a percentage of that and another of another group.

We are divided as a nation and a more accurate statement is man or woman will support someone that shares their beliefs no matter what.

And they'll NEVER vote for a Republican, even those who just pretend to be on our side. Almost everyone else dislikes FemNazis and their enablers. Think back to the days in question, the mid-'80s. Back then the liberal attitude was that a woman was as free to engage in and promote sexual activity as men were. Women who didn't want to participate, even when very young, knew what situations would be too wild for them. Add to that, they're concentrated in those areas that Republicans often don't even have a serious candidate.
The disgusting display at the initial hearings and their generally bad behavior cost them elections, to the point that hillary lost. Republicans lose when they don't stand up to their onslaught. If 'pubs want to win in November, they should confirm Kavanaugh and the maniacs will over-reach and scare sane people away from voting for dems.
Even on FB, a lot a women are saying that the accuser and her enablers are way out of line. And President Trump's questioning her veracity? He's a father and grandfather of girls he loves and protects. I'd wager that a lot of parents and grandparents are. They know exactly what they would've done if a 15 year old had come home drunk and disheveled. She's not believable, and the 'pubs will lose if they let her get away with this.
