How soon before Kavanaugh simply withdraws himself rather than put his family through any more of this?

I think he knows this is bigger than him. The worst thing he can do for this country’s future is withdraw.
I'm thinking he won't. Can't just withdraw as that places a big guilty sign on his back for the rest of his life. If he stays and fights, they won't be able to do this to anyone else.
