First soldier remains sent from North Korea identified

The first remains of soldiers killed in the Korean War and sent from North Korea have been identified as belonging to Army Master Sgt. Charles H. McDaniel of Indiana and Army Pfc. William H. Jones of North Carolina, President Trump shared through Twitter on Thursday.

That war was almost 70 years ago; anyone who knew them has long since gone on to join them.

I would rather have had our POWs from that war (who were kept by the Chinese; probably deceased by now) and the POWs from the Vietnam war
returnd.

The US has a doleful reputation for forgetting those it left behind.
