The ranking Democrat on the House Judiciary Committee, Rep. Jerrold Nadler (N.Y.), on Wednesday compared the "pattern" of allegations against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh to those faced by disgraced Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein.
"These allegations should be thoroughly investigated, and they have credibility," Nadler told Hill.TV's Krystal Ball and Buck Sexton. His comments follow a third woman coming forward to accuse Kavanaugh of sexual misconduct.
"The specific reason they have credibility is that they fit the pattern, and the pattern is that when you find someone like a Harvey Weinstein or someone else who's very respected and powerful ... and is suddenly accused of sexually exploiting women, first one person comes forward, and then another, and then the dam breaks, and you find a number of women coming forward," he continued.

I have tried to be reasonable. I have always divided leftists into three groups, two of which I won’t have anything to do and regard them as domestic enemies of the United States.
But I have always given an out for the last third...the people I know who are Lefties, but they aren’t ideologic per se, they are often good-hearted but ill informed or follow their emotions. These are people you can talk to, and occasionally change their minds.
They are often people who change as they get older, get a family, work at a job, or even occasionally, have the figurative mugging that converts them to a conservative.
That segment of Leftists is growing smaller and smaller, and I have less inclination to even interact with them in any fashion.
I know a federal judge who was nominated for the 10th circuit. He was aggressively recruited by the Bush administration because he was a great legal mind and had a stellar, clean background. As soon as his name hit the papers, this same crap started on him. Bush’s people didn’t back him up and he withdrew. He wasn’t going to put his family through it.
I have been watching this. The DemocRATS are worshipping Ford. But, nothing has come out that proves that there is any connection between Ford and Kavanaugh. It’s all unsupported allegations.
Of course, there was an audio tape of Weinstein trying to force a woman into having sex with him while Ford's alleged witnesses refuse to corroborate her claims.
