A good friend, fairly conservative, lives in Indiana, told me he wasn’t sold on Donnelly’s opponent, Mike Braun. He said Donnelly is a moderate democrat and was considering voting for him. But yesterday evening, my friend was so incensed at the confirmation process that if Donnelly votes “No” on Kavanaugh, he will break his arm pulling the lever for Braun. I’m guessing a number Hoosiers feel the same way.
Joe Donnelly, IMHO, just lost the election.
