Far be it for me, someone who spent the better part of his life as your typical secular agnostic, to talk about God. But that was what I have been thinking about in the hours since I spent my day, as many of us did, watching the Kavanaugh confirmation hearing.
I guess it first hit me when Judge Kavanaugh, in the midst of his powerful and heartfelt opening statement, one few expected him to make, choked up, fighting back tears as he spoke of his ten-year old daughter's desire to pray for Dr. Ford. I had trouble choking back my own and it dawned on me I was watching an event that I thought was political being transformed into a spiritual one.
Nothing was as expected. A real rape had taken place but it wasn't the one everyone was talking about. It was simultaneously a rape of Judge Kavanaugh, his family, and the American people themselves. The collateral damage was Dr. Ford, her friends, and her family. And the perpetrator was the Democratic Party, principally their Judiciary Committee members, their ranking member, and the minority leader.
It also dawned me that whatever the pundits were saying had become irrelevant. The American people were watching now -- they would make up their own minds -- and... I thought I'd never say this... God was looking down on the proceedings.
For the first time I had a visceral understanding of what Dennis Prager meant when he said God was involved in the American founding. (I've been reading his book on Exodus.)

I was saying yesterday to my wife that about a year ago it hit me that just maybe the reason for Trump’s shocking victory was because it was a case of divine intervention. And I told her that if that is true, you can pretty much count on Kavanaugh getting in.
And then we all watched all or part of the hearings yesterday. It struck me that they NEEDED to happen. It solidified his qualifications as no candidate has ever been solidified. And yes, I’m seeing divine intervention here as well.

Luckily for some of those scumbags in the Senate the Good Lord didn't decide to turn them into pillars of salt.

yes brother. Trump’s win was all God. we had many prophetic prayer meetings before the fact, even on the monday night before, and my faith and the presence of God was overwhelming for me on that day (otoh, my friend, listening to the media, had already given the election to hillary).

I also saw God yesterday. Not just in his spoken words about prayer and his swearing to God.
I thought later that the Holy Spirit told his Father to start keeping the calendar / diary. He soon taught his son to do the same.
In my opinion, the calendar blew the Liar out. She could never come up with more details to make her more believable because the calendar would have shown her to be a liar.
All the supposed witnesses were convicted by the Holy Spirit to be truthful, including her good friend.
The Devil was at work, but our God will always defeat him. His plan was in motion for 40 years because he knew where Kavanaugh should be.
They picked the wrong nominee to play their evil games.

Unfortunately she weaseled out of the confusion with the help of her aid by claiming they didnt release the letter- that ford herself talked to others, and they ‘probably leaked it’
