House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D., Calif.) said Friday she is praying for "divine intervention" to stop Brett Kavanaugh from reaching the Supreme Court.
Pelosi spent much of her press briefing addressing the controversy surrounding the explosive Senate Judiciary Commitee hearing where Kavanaugh and Christine Blasey Ford, who has accused him of sexual assault, testified on Thursday.

Is she praying to Satan? She claims to be Catholic. Does she believe that God wants more abortions?

Obviously I can’t speak for God but I would want to pose something theoretical to Pelosi. What if divine intervention is what led to Kavanaugh being at this place and time to be nominated? Wouldn’t that mean that by requesting divine intervention to prevent Kavanaugh from being confirmed, that Pelosi is asking God to intervene in his own decision?

He wants sloth rewarded and ambition punished.
He wants sexual perversion to be the order of the day.

I suspect the Left puts on religion like a mask. And, like a mask, nobody except the wearer is fooled. Pelosi is someone who has heard of piety. Never having experienced it, she feels she can put on its semblance and the watcher will be deceived. She would be shocked to find this is not true. This is because she believes those who are pious are dullards who should be easily fooled.
A news show talking head said of her, “Pelosi does not represent the views of the average American. She does, however, represent the views of her constituents.” Therein lies the answer to her political longevity.

Stop Kavanaugh? How about his. Make the delay a full week, even though the investigation will likely be complete by Monday morning. Yes, make the delay, stop Kavanaugh a full week in trade for you, Representative Pelosi, resigning from office. How about that? You can accomplish your goal, albeit briefly, and provide a good, lasting community service while you do it.

I’m praying for God to remove from power those who support the killing of prenatal infants. Also those who would subject children in the public arena to the doctrines of groups that can never produce healthy families. Even so, come quickly, Lord Jesus.
