Was that really John Dickerson interviewing Sen. Tom Cotton on Face the Nation today, or was it a lifelike droid programmed by Dem Sen. Mazie 'Shut Up, Men' Hirono?
The question arises because the normally mild-mannered Dickerson was shockingly combative with Cotton. View the video, because the transcript alone doesn't do justice to just how sarcastic and confrontational Dickerson was.

what a Dick. Cotton is usually great, but he seemed on his back foot here.
I thought he did fine, though perhaps he didn’t anticipate that Dickerson would be so confrontational.
I loved Cotton’s line, when Dickerson asked if it were relevant that Kavanaugh lied about things not related to Ford: “what are you talking about, John?”
That was nasty. What if the FBI comes back and says everyone said the same thing under oath except the true almost rapist was someone else. So far they have all just said it was not Kavanaugh.
What if the FBI discovers this was a plan and Ford is not this fragile flower she pretended to be. What if the FBI started this investigation weeks ago
Even a mouse becomes ferocious when cornered by a hungry cat! Dickerson is feeling the heat of 5:4 majority in the highest court in the land. That means liberal Dickerson can not depend on the courts to rescue them when they lose elections.
Would this guy ask that same question in the same confrontational manner if Keith Ellison was sitting in that chair?

Agreed, and though I’m not a big Hugh Hewitt fan, he clearly is promoting Cotton and has him on his show and podcast very frequently.
Then Cotton is completely clueless as to the state of the news media.
Cotton was manhandled.
Dick H must not know that this investigation may be over Tuesday.
It was to take no longer than one week. If nothing is found then the vote happens.
