If you captured over 90% of a demographic group (as Democrats do with blacks), wouldn't you try to increase their turnout? If you have 27% of the electorate in the bag, it means you need just over 1/3rd of the remaining electorate to have 51% overall.
I don’t remember the Senate debate on Bill Clinton, when he was accused of rape by women in the day.

They fly into an airport in Atlanta, and step off the airplane. Hang around Atlanta, and poll people. They take their reports back and say, “This is representative of what people in Georgia think.” Atlanta is filled up with transplants. Yet the majority of the state of Georgia is outside the Atlanta metropolitan area.
More likely Murkowski and Collins led them around by the nostrils.
I do not share your enthusiasm over the way the Repubicans handled this. Not one step of the say, until now when we had to call in the FBI.
Adult population of Georgia is 30% AA and Hispanic 8%. Non Hispanic whites are 52% meaning white females are 26%. A black democrat starts with at least 32% in the bag. Get 50% of the white female vote and you have 45%. Get 20% of the white male vote and you have the election. Get a much higher turnout in the minority vote than normal (ground game is expensive) and you win by a very comfortable margin. Minority turnout and the white female vote are critical.
Not sure the connection there.

Republicans need to make an issue of this. Wealthy Leftists are throwing lots of cash at elections in Texas, Georgia and Florida among others.
I think it would make for effective ads in those states to point this out to voters and tout their own candidates as the ones representing their home states - not the candidates who are proxies for California and New York.
I’ve said this once and say it again, in the rush to lure businesses from all over the country, especially tech businesses, Southern and Midwestern Governors give/gave away the kitchen sinks, with their tax breaks and special deals. They all thought that these businesses would provide jobs for their citizens and bring money into the states. Well, be careful what you wish for. These companies may provide a few jobs for the locals, here and there. Usually in maintenance, but the only thing they transform is, turning areas into small, exclusive liberal islands. And they are the whitest places around.
Nashville is a liberal, hipster hub.
Austin has pretty much been destroyed by radical liberals.
Atlanta is no different. Recently the mayor of Atlanta, put out a statement to her black constituents, not to sell their homes to the new folks(white people) wanting to move into their neighborhoods. Either because she’s afraid of losing the votes or wants them to hold out for the most money. Unfortunately for those people, the city sees the neighborhoods transitioning as a way to explode property taxes that the people can’t afford. So they’re forced to sell or lose their homes.
And lets not forget about the movement, Flipthe6th. Liberals from up North, and elsewhere, have decided to move into Tom Price’s old district and turn it Dem. They sell their homes in NY for $400-700k, or more, and go down South where they buy a house for cash and cut their tax bills by 75%.
Of course, so many said, “no way that’ll happen”. Well John Ossoff almost pulled it off and he didn’t even live in the district. Why do the liberals move there? It has great schools. Ones that haven’t changed their curriculum’s, yet, to fall in line with the liberal indoctrination, yet.
I can take you to a number of neighborhoods in and around Atlanta, showing you the same things. Ultra White, Liberal, Hipster neighborhoods that pretend to care about all the ills of the world, but maintain some of the most exclusive places around. If you saw some of the neighborhoods that keep John Lewis in Congress, you’d be amazed; Virginia Highlands(mean home price is $700k and up), Inman Park, Morningside, The Prado. One of the most interesting things about these neighborhoods is, they all hire off-duty cops to patrol them. Some go so far as to provide a vehicle and cell phone. Why? Because the residents don’t call 911 when they see a “brown person” walking down the sidewalk. They call the off-duty cop. They tell the cop someone suspicious is walking down there street looking at houses, maybe casing the place. And guess what, there’s no record of the call being made to 911, so there’s no way of documenting how racist, etc the residents are.
Why do I say all that? These are the people that are propping Abrams up. These are the ones that pushed the button for her in the primary. The cities and surrounding ‘burbs in Georgia, much like every place else, control much of what happens in the state. Take any state in the country, if the county by county maps are accurate, the majority of the country is Conservative. But the population centers, full of liberals and moochers, control the places.
I live in one of those northern suburbs and I agree with you.
I’d be very surprised and very disappointed if this woman won the state of GA. Atlanta might elect her, but not the rest of the state.
God help us if GA elected a socialist for governor. I can’t see her getting all the black vote either. Trump has made a dent in support from blacks... surely they would not go back to a socialist!
I got my absentee ballot last week.. so people are already voting... making decisions on who.
