Rep. Duncan Hunter, Jr. (R-CA) retains an eight-point lead over challenger Democrat Ammar Campa-Najjar in California’s 50th congressional district in the latest Monmouth College poll.

The poll, taken from September 22 to 26, has the incumbent ahead 49%-41% (with a 4.9% margin of error) among “potential” voters.

We are seeing the “results” of our embracing “diversity.” A man with the surname Hunter, who has served his country, being challenged by a Palestinian piece of $hit!

“partisan divisions are so stark, that many voters are sticking with Hunter even if they think he is guilty. “

The corruption at the State and Federal DOJs are so widespread and profound, that I think that many conservatives are calling into question the investigations and indictments.

“Time to put the breaks on immigration for thirty years.”

I fear that we’ve got more than the camel’s nose under the tent. The $hit that’s here are going to out-breed us. Unless we can do something to blunt the voting power of our large cities, we’re not likely to survive as a Republic.

When given the choice between a thief and the grandson of a terrorist who murdered athletes at the 72 olympics..... and said grandson tried his best to hide the fact of his relationship....

Yea, My bet is voters will likley choose the thief.

If his opponent was that Lamb fella in Pennsylvania he’d have a big fight on his hands. This time it’s the Democrats missing an opportunity as Republicans prefer honesty over crooks.

I’d write-in vote for a dead possum before I would vote for a POS like Ammar Campa-Najjar....

I agree the R’s are getting lucky by who the Dem is in this race...

But R’s also know, Duncan gets in, goes on trial and if convicted will be gone and they will be able to vote for another R to replace him.... whereas if the D wins, they are stuck with him for 2 years....

And I don’t think that district is going to put in the grandson of a notorious terrorist, period. Especially when he did his best to HIDE that fact.. and only admitted to it after he’d been outed.

My guess, there will be a special election inside a year to replace Duncan.

Representative Hunter's crime (if it were a crime) was less of one than that of Alcye Hastings who was never removed from Congress and still serves. From what I have read Hunter is being scrutinized and charged for being a Republican.

It’s funny how unintentional missteps and oversights, and completely innocent acts can become monumental felonies in the hands of a democrat prosecutor. I recall one of the allegations made was that he had spent thousands of dollars flying a puppy across the country—either the campaign’s or taxpayer’s money, I don’t recall. It seems to me that if a family must locate to a new home the pets should accompany them.

It’s the sort of thing anyone would do, but recounted by the prosecution it’s treated as flagrant embezzlement— magnified many times over when the media gets wind of it.

People, I suspect, are starting to catch on.

Stealing over 250k of campaign money is “being charged for being a republican” its being charged for being a crook.

He will get his day in court, but I truly don’t feel the ‘partisan witch hunt’ line is going to get him off....

If the claims in the indictment are even remotely true.. and I have a hard time believing the nearly $40,000 in overdraft charges his family incurred, were just made up....

He’ll get his day in court, but I doubt highly he’s keeping his seat.. Time will tell

Giving your wife a paper job isn’t a mis-step....

Lying about purchases is not a “mis step”.

Mr Hunter will get his day in court, but if the indictment is even remotely true... this isn’t a mis-step here or there being mischaracterized...

Believing the things he’s accused of are simple mis steps is like saying McDonnell’s were..

He’ll get his day in court, but the “its a partisan witch hunt” rings hallow on this one.

an eight-point lead over challenger Democrat Ammar Campa-Najjar

. . . And strongly in Duncan Hunter's favor is that it's possible to spell his name.

Yes, we have problems.

The first thing I would do is declare that all government facilities would operate in English.

People want to go to school would have to learn English to do it.

The catering we do to foreign nationals is destructive.
