Typing “kill” into Twitter’s search function currently returns a shocking result at the top of its search suggestions: “#KillKavanaugh.” It’s also currently the third autocompleted suggestion in searches for “ki” and the fourth suggestion in searches for “k” as of this writing.
That’s right — by typing a single letter into search, Twitter is suggesting that its users might be interested in a hashtag about the murder of a federal judge and SCOTUS nominee.
The search suggestion was spotted by Instapundit earlier today and has been confirmed by Breitbart News.
“KillKavanaugh” search suggestions were also observed by Breitbart News in seemingly harmless searches for “ki” and “k.”
In hashtag suggestions, “#KillKavanaugh” currently tops the list of suggestions when users type “#Ki.”
It can be argued that some — but not all — of these tweets are metaphorical, calling for the nomination to be “killed” rather than the person, in the same way that a piece of legislation might be metaphorically “killed.” But refusing to take action against those tweets would still be an example of Twitter’s double standards: the platform has in the past permanently banned free speech maximalist users when they employed similar metaphors, using the least charitable interpretation of their remarks.
Twitter has in the past been slow or unwilling to address abusive or violent tweets against conservatives and Republicans. When the daughters of Islam critic Pamela Geller were bombarded with abuse earlier this year, Twitter did nothing. In fact, some of the abusive tweets remain on the site, undeleted. In 2016, death threats against sitting Republican senators were allowed to remain on the platform for weeks.
Meanwhile, Twitter continues to permanently ban top conservative commentators and activists simply for posting unwelcome facts, severely hampering the conservative grassroots’ ability to mobilize supporters ahead of crucial elections...

I unequivocally condemn the hatred, anger and violence of the left. They started with going out at night and screaming at the moon. They harassed Trump staff in restaurants. And now this.

Our country is in a real bad place right now.
The only reason the left has been getting away with these crimes involving assault is they happen in leftist strongholds with leftist (communist) leadership protecting them.
When the field is leveled and we too have lawful protections preventing us from being arrested for protecting ourselves; the criminal leftists who commit assaults will be leveled (permanently) as well.
Being the cowardly bullies they are; the other leftist thugs will fold like a dropped wet sheet. They will find themselves alone in the wilderness because no one likes a bully. The rest of the cowardly roaches will crawl back into the cracks they came from grumbling something about fairness.
Most will tell you that it is necessary to save the country.
