I don’t think the neo-ACORN women had any influence over Flake, but I think it likely Flake has been conspiring with the Dems on how to stop the Kavanaugh nomination.
Obviously, the Dems knew that Kav’s Yale basketball buddy would come forward with statements that Kav did black out occasionally when drinking.
They held that witness back until they could get Kav on the record saying he never blacked out while drinking.
Listening to the Dem questions as they asked him time after time about blacking out while drinking, it was obvious they had such a witness in their pocket and they were setting Kav up.
I think Flake is a no and has always been a no. He will say that Kav was dishonest about blacking out, and that will be his ostensible reasoning.
The question is Collins and Murkowski. Can Mitch McConnell hold them to a yes? He has a lot more influence over them than he does over Flake.
After the election, flake was in contact daily with obama. Along with his constant criticism of Trump, this is a very simple game of connect the dots. Try to keep up.
