A new attack ad comparing Brett Kavanaugh to Bill Clinton and Bill Cosby has been launched by the American Civil Liberties Union.

The 30 second clip points out that Clinton and Cosby both vehemently denied sex claims against them before they were found to be lying.

It is part of a million-dollar effort by the nonprofit to persuade wavering senators not to back Kavanaugh's nomination to the Supreme Court amid sexual assault claims by three women.

Proof? Credibility of accusers? Coverup of scandals? Established connections between alleged victim(s) and accused?
Pattern of behavior?

Are we seeing any of this in the Kavanaugh allegations?
Did we see this with Clinton and others?

So much for comparisons.

Innocent people also vehemently deny accusations. Denial cannot be taken as a sign of guild, except in the tiny little minds of the agenda-driven left. They have a narrative, and they will work as hard as needed to fit their desired message.

No. What it means is that once again, the ACLU shows its true colors. The organization has always been a key niche player on the Left. The long term objectives have never been the protection of "civil liberties," not as understood by America's founders; never for the benefit of mainstream Americans.

Is the ACLU a tax exempt organization? If yes, that should be pulled TODAY!!!

ENOUGH of “the rules only apply to the right” attitude within government!!!

Funny, isn’t it, that they only mention Clinton’s lie about Lewinsky, but there is no mention of Juanita Broaddrick, Kathleen Willey, or Paula Jones.

Let them blow their money on advertising. And let their donors think about whether this is an organization worthy of their dollars.

“Recovered Memories”; McMartin Style, All Over Again.

Keep in mind, Blasey (now Ford) was about the right age to have gotten swept up in the eighties recovered memory/Satanic Panic hysteria while she was in school.

And impressionable. And maybe “looking to make a difference.”

BREAKING: This is HUGE (waiting for permission to h/t): One of Christine Ford Blasey’s research articles in 2008 included a study in which participants were TAUGHT SELF-HYPNOSIS & noted hypnosis is used to retrieve important memories “AND CREATE ARTIFICAL SITUATIONS.” pic.twitter.com/11n1JVnArM

If you’ve never seen the great James-Woods-starring HBO movie Indictment: The McMartin Trial, Wikipedia sums up the real-life trial of a perfectly-innocent family running a dayschool based on “recovered memories” of kids who claimed they’d been sexually abused in Satanic rituals:

The McMartin preschool trial was a day care sexual abuse case in the 1980s, prosecuted by the Los Angeles District Attorney Ira Reiner.[1] Members of the McMartin family, who operated a preschool in Manhattan Beach, California, were charged with numerous acts of sexual abuse of children in their care. Accusations were made in 1983. Arrests and the pretrial investigation ran from 1984 to 1987, and the trial ran from 1987 to 1990. After six years of criminal trials, no convictions were obtained, and all charges were dropped in 1990. When the trial ended in 1990, it had been the longest and most expensive criminal trial in American history.[2] The case was part of day-care sex-abuse hysteria, a moral panic over alleged Satanic ritual abuse in the 1980s and early 1990s.

The stories they told were literally unbelievable. Literally. Unbelievable. Kids told them about “The Naked Movie Star Game” where they’d have to undress and strut the cat-walk for guests.

In another incident, kids claimed that they were led to a ceremony to engage in Satanic rites. A photo array was put before a kid, and he was asked to circle any faces of the men who took them to the ceremony.

The two men identified? An LA attorney and martial arts legend Chuck Norris.

This link may not work for long, but this seems to be the full movie.

The Chuck Norris part is at 109:30.

Of course, that’s just the case they made a movie about — this panic swept up all of America. Commenters remind me that Janet Reno made her reputation (to the extent she has one) riding this wave of insane panic.

WIKI---(He just passed away)......but David Schippers became a public figure when a friend of his, then-Congressman Henry Hyde, asked him to be the Chief Investigative Counsel for the US House Judiciary Committee. Schippers was a lifelong Democrat but accepted and took the job in April 1998.[3]

The Committee was holding an inquiry on whether President Bill Clinton had committed impeachable offences in his handling of the Paula Jones sexual harassment suit..... during which he committed perjury regarding his affair with then-White House Intern Monica Lewinsky. After an investigation, the committee in December 1998 voted to impeach Clinton, a decision supported by Schippers.[5]

On December 10, 1998, Schippers said to the committee: "The President, then, has lied under oath in a civil deposition, lied under oath in a criminal grand jury. He lied to the people, he lied to his Cabinet, he lied to his top aides, and now he's lied under oath to the Congress of the United States. There's no one left to lie to."[4]

==============================================

One Clinton lies.....

"I never had sexual relations with that woman...Miss Lewinsky."

And the other Clinton swears to it.

Standing by her man (sniffle).

=============================================

VINTAGE TIME COVER The Clintons leave the WH
arm-in-arm after Bill got lewinskied. Plotting to exploit
Bill's BJ for votes, the Clintons' political apparat never faltered.
That smirk on Hillary's face tells the story.

Hillary later went on network TV all decked out in virginal pearls,
denying everything, blaming Billy's B/J on "an invention of a VRWC."

Bill later admitted to it, was impeached, and disbarred.
He had to pay Paula Jones 850,000 dollars.

----------------

The ACLU is a two part organization: "Legally, the ACLU consists of two separate but closely affiliated nonprofit organizations: the American Civil Liberties Union, a 501(c)(4) social welfare group, and the ACLU Foundation, a 501(c)(3) public charity. Both organizations engage in civil rights litigation, advocacy, and education, but only donations to the 501(c)(3) foundation are tax deductible, and only the 501(c)(4) group can engage in unlimited political lobbying. The two organizations share office space and employees."

It sounds very "DemonRat" to me.....

Ypu want comparisons? How about Senator Robert Menendez of New Jersey? How about Keith Ellison of the DNC and now candidate for Attorney General of the State of Minnesota? Are these not positions of trust, and are there not very credible allegations of serious sexual misconduct in each of those instances?

And people carp that Brett Kavanaugh drank beer at private gatherings while in preparatory high school.

The difference is, they WERE lying.

IOW, the ACLU is a partisan shill organization (in case there had been any doubt) and btw has done ZERO to put either Bill Cosby (now serving 5 to 10 years) or Bill Clinton behind bars. In addition, the equation is faulty, because the accusations against Brett Kavanaugh are baldfaced lies. It would not be surprising at all to find that the ACLU was involved in cooking up the witch hunt against our next Supreme Court Justice.
