I’d bet everything I own that Murky had decided some time ago that this would be her last term and that she’s lined up a gig at the Amazon Post or MSLSD.
Actually she ran as a Republican write-in candidate. Quite a bizarre election set up. She won without even being on the ballot - and despite comments to the contrary, the NRSC fully backed the GOP candidate and ran multiple ads on his behalf - none for Murkowski. So that told her she could win not only without conservatives, but without the Republican Party itself. She really went left after that.
“Oh please. spare me the give Alaska back to Russia garbage. Even if it is sarcasm. You should still be grateful to be American. Stop it with the treason-veering. If you hate the country so much, YOU move and go be a Putin serf in a nation with ZERO due process.”

CondoleezzaProtege, you’re taking on a lot of responsibility upon yourself. You assume we are not grateful to be an American. One definite perk of being an American is the PRIVILEGE OF FREE SPEECH. It’s a very nice privilege, and one that I will continue to partake of whilst I walk upon this earth. And yes, that means even while I may disagree with you upon some ideas, I mean to give you the respect due you as a FReeper.
Treason-veering. Interesting term. Our Founding Fathers were accused of being Treasonous. They’re a good group of men to be labeled with, in this day and age. Though I cannot speak for the rjsimmon, if I’m fortunate enough to be able to be among them in my love of America, I will be content.

I have been in the presence of Russians before who make quips like that (taking Alaska back) sometimes made in jest and other times coming from a genuinely bitter place. Geopolitics and lost empire nostalgia is personal to them. Just look at what happened to Crimea.
And while the Supreme Court hearings are migraine-inducing (and this go-around was unique), the whole process is also the epitome of American exceptionalism. There is no process or institution quite like it anywhere else on earth.

Time certainly took it’s toll on her; but then again, being a conniving, lying, deceitful, hateful, scumbag liberal POS your whole life isn’t conducive to growing old gracefully.

I wanted to post a picture that shows Feinstein threatening Murkowski but I don’t know how to post a picture yet, I did a copy and paste but the picture didn’t appear in my post.
So Google: Feinstein threatening Murkowski and then hit the Images tab and you should see the pictures of the Feinstein thug with Murkowski pinned with her back to a wall in The Senate corridor.
