If she votes present, the RATs only have 48 No votes - so the Montana Senator’s vote isn’t need (his daughter has a wedding). It will pass 50-48.
Since Manchin said he’d vote yes Daines isn’t needed and even if Murkowski voted no it still wouldn’t matter for that reason.
This whole “courtesy” thing is a sham. Just a way for her to be totally on the fence.
If she voted no with Daines out it’s still 50-49. Unless my math is wrong at this late hour (a distinct possibility granted).
Pretty sure though it’s just smoke blown up Alaska’s collective voting public’s you know what. So she doesn’t have to take a stand one way or the other. A real leader there.
