What is good about Collins saying what she did is that it further exposed the Democrats.
Why are they going through all of this for a person who is moderate?
It exposes them as the Machiavellian Power Hungry monsters that they truly are for all to see.
I share the concerns of some commentators that Judge Kavanaugh may not be adequately conservative, faithful to the constitution... as so desperately needed to repair some of the last court’s damage to the country
however, he is at least not a far leftist commie Nazi political whacko.....
and he is well qualified
all this Nazi style smear against him and his family is totally despicable, evil.................I will conclude by just noting that they’ve proven not a single germane fact indicating this nominee may not be qualified for the job. Not a single thing against him after 7 FBI investigations and all the muck and sheit throwing at him. Nothing negative, nada.

Yes, the above is in all CAPS because they would be rabidly screaming their response to your reasoned request because the left has become totally unhinged.

My hope is that what Kavanaugh has experienced has opened his eyes as to the ways of the Left.

Sadly, it WAS the standard. The U.S. Senate was once known for being the place where legends like Daniel Webster, Henry Clay, S.I. Hayakawa, Daniel Patrick Moynihan and the best minds in the country thoughtfully and carefully debated.
Look at it now. It is now chock full of people with IQs barely above the moron level such as DiFi, Patty Bin Murray, Bob Casey Jr. and other examples too numerous to mention. Once upon a time in the not too distant past, Patty Bin Murray was the dumbest of the lot hands down. Now, she has fierce competition for that dubious honor.
I like the way Senator Collins started out her speech with examples of those who announced opposition to Judge Cavanaugh BEFORE he was even announced. That includes Pennsylvania's very own village idiot.
I give the grandstanding, slow-thinking woman ... who took 44 minutes to say the word “yes”... and who’s committee vote gave us Obamacare...an “F”. She is no heroine...she’s a RINO that needs to be replaced.
It is worth noting that it was the Democrat Party that championed slavery in the 19th century, just as it was the Democrat Party that still suppurates with violent, hate-filled evil in the 21st century, and always has.
Nothing has changed but rhetoric of the veneer of delusion in this Evil Party of Hate and Violence since it was advocating slavery.

But did it make you a bit nervous that maybe Kavanaugh is not as conservative as many of us think.
She painted him as another Kennedy.
As she kept going on and on about what a moderate and centrist he is, I started getting a little nervous.
Also I started wondering if this whole experience will impact his future rulings. Will it motivate him to go more to the right, or will he try to ingratiate himself with the left so they won’t hate him so much?
