How Deep is the Swamp?
The Conservative Treehouse ^ | October 6, 2018 | sundance

All of those elements would be needed in forethought in order to begin constructing the extensive plot against Judge Kavanaugh. If they didn’t have confidence in the status of those institutions they would never begin.

If we accept the premise: if they thought they would/could get caught they would never begin, then we must accept a more disconcerting reality.

They began because they had no risk of getting caught. The current institutions are corrupt.

Adding what we know about the James Wolfe outcome to the current Kavanaugh plot, and what stands in front of us is an entirely corrupt set of institutions providing no law, no order, and absolutely no oversight. Abject FUBAR.

The counter being Kavanaugh is a very firm supporter of The Patriot Act. So we have swamp v swamp.

Conservative Treehouse often has an interesting and well-considered take on issues. But the Sundance sycophantry from the site’s membership is so off-putting that I never go there any more.

If you have to despise a star because you don’t like the fans, well?

The breadth and depth is grossly understated.

Remember the global voice that was harnessed (for the echo chamber) for the support and endorsement of the nobel laureate, BHO????

Sometimes when you’re up to your ass in gators it’s hard to remember that your main objective is to drain the swamp !

Not very deep but the muck the bottom is quite slimy.
The bottom dwellers borough in and are hard to get at.

Anybody who has spent time working in the swamp realizes how deep and wide the Federal Swamp is. Draining the Swamp water is one thing. Trying to actually infiltrate the apparatus that has taken decades to construct is another thing.

Seizing control of all the levers of power takes time and a methodical game plan.

After the mid terms, we will be able to see what kind of progress the Trump team has made. Two years on the job heading face first into a shit storm has slowed the process but great gains have been made legislatively.

It is as deep as the oceans. Democratic party, some flakey Republicans, mass media, government administrators, justice department, foreign affairs department, colleges. High schools and elementary schools.

No doubt it will take a long while for sure. Rome wasn’t built in a day and the swamp has many nooks and crannies to scrape out. One by one like chipping out of Alcatraz with a soda can tab.

Swamps are shallow. There is no swamp deep as an ocean. If it was, it would be de facto an ocean

I have never posted there for that reason. I still visit occasionally.

Sundance today is not sundance a year and a half ago.

He finally had to abandon the White Hat and Big Ugly propaganda: hence this article.

I never saw an outright mea culpa, however.

I was not, and am not, in favor of Kavanaugh, for reasons like that.

I am nevertheless outraged that Grassley and McConnell played their UniParty COP [Controlled Opposition Party] roles while a man’s family and reputation were irreparably harmed.

You can bet China Mac, ever the Machiavellian power-and-money hoarder, is rubbing his hands with glee over the jump in Republican fundraising: funds that will be spent not on conservatives and locals but on national establishment crony campaigns.

The cookie-cutter conservatives are thrilled with the way this was handled. I. Am. Not.
