It would make sense that the people most likely to believe the testimony of Dr Christine Blasey Ford would be the ones who look like her: middle-aged, white women.
But polls and even a cursory glance at cable news show this not to be the case.
Fox News host Martha MacCallum said that following Ford’s testimony, she kept hearing from moms who “fear due process is dead”. If Brett Kavanaugh is denied a supreme court confirmation over Ford’s sexual assault allegations, these women fear their sons could be subjected to “an unfair precedent” one day.
It’s a view very much condoned in the White House. Donald Trump – in addition to vocally defending Kavanaugh – recently used the moment to push back on his own more than a dozen female accusers, and bemoaned “the trauma for a man” involved in having such claims aired.
Donald Trump Jr, when asked if he was more worried for his sons or daughters, said: “Right now, I’d say my sons.”
In other words, they’re thinking more of men than women, and no small number of white women seem happy to follow suit.
A new ad released Thursday by CatholicVote.org goes from footage of adorable babies growing into men, to Kavanaugh saying Ford’s claims have him “totally and permanently destroyed”. Viewers are told: “If it can happen to him, it can happen to our sons, our brothers, husbands, fathers. It can happen to you.”(continued)

I resent the implication that a middle-aged, white woman has to look like Dr. Ford.
To many people’s souls are for sale ..and cheap.
Or that middle-aged (and somewhat older) women relate to simpering (I’ve heard it called “pretty pose” but I call it simpering) and speaking in a little girl voice. I find Dr. Ford embarrassing.
I’m not religious and would go so far to say I’m an agnostic. I’m a white woman, age 46. I’m a Kavanaugh supporter and I’m pro-life. I’m losing liberal female friends by the minute.
To me, the idea that all women must think alike, that they only think with their genitals, that they universally perceive themselves as victims, and that they have zero regard for the traditions of constitutionality embodied within our legal system, is absolutely the most demeaning thing that has ever been done to women ever. Nevertheless, I welcome it, because I believe in the end it will smoke out the women who are unable to think for themselves, and the women who I believe are and will continue to be such valuable members of society.

The author seems to have a problem with that we are "thinking of the men". Of course we are, the men are the ones in need of protection in this case.
What kind of people would we be if we thought of anything else?

Because “acting White” leads to “privilege”, and privilege is “bad”. So we must stop acting White to eliminate privilege. And the first step is for White women to not marry responsible, motivated White men, as they will invariably fall into “the privilege trap”, which as John Adams astutely noted, was the key to the functionality of a free society, which the Left wants to destroy.
She doesn't. But if she is a middle-aged, white woman with blonde hair, glasses intended to make her look like she can think and is a leftist lunatic that will sell her soul to the devil to stop Trump's SCOTUS pick through lies and sleazy innuendo, then I submit that she has to look like Dr. Ford.

I’m not thinking of men. I’m thinking of facts, of which there are none in support of Dr. Ford’s accusations or any others.
