Rubio MUST have voted. Otherwise the reported count is wrong.

If you add up the votes, he had to have voted.

It was 50-48; weren’t the abstentions Daines and Murkowsky?

Trump is giving cover for the Senator, he is to be commended for that. But the Senator was wrong in doing so, this was an historical vote and his responsibility was to be there.

Exactly! Who knows what could have happened. The Senators first responsibility is to the Constitution, not personal issues.

I do stand corrected. They would have done just that.

The President showed faith in McConnell by trusting that he had the votes; that should create a stronger mutual trust for the coming battles.

My dad missed my little sister’s birth...he was in Vietnam. Nobody thought about pulling him out of his helicopter squadron to come home.

Ann Coulter

IF NEEDED”? This is the single most important vote in a century & this jackass is going to his daughter’s WEDDING. I hope it rains & the groom screws a bridesmaid.

Amen! That is exactly what I have been saying as well! His first responsibility was to the Constitution, not his daughter’s wedding! Trump is giving him cover!

“Murkowski voted “Present” so Daines did not have to be there to cancel her “no” vote with his “yes”.

You are not by yourself. Class acts by President Trump and the two senators.
