President Trump spoke at a rally in Kansas Saturday night, praising his newly-confirmed Supreme Court pick Brett Kavanaugh while also slamming Democrats and urging people to vote Republican in the upcoming midterm elections.
Upon taking the stage, Trump told the crowd he was "thrilled" to be with them on a "truly historic night."
The president was in Kansas to support Kris Kobach, the GOP nominee for governor, as well as political newcomer Steve Watkins, a Republican seeking to succeed retiring congresswoman, Lynn Jenkins.
The president praised Republican senators and Kavanaugh, calling him "a man of great character and intellect," while also condemning Democrats for their "disgraceful campaign" against him.
"The radical democrats have turned into an angry mob" who have thrown to the side "every notion of fairness, of justice, of decency and of due process," Trump said.
He went on to urge the crowd to go to the polls next month, telling them they "have a chance to stop the radical Democrats" by electing Republicans to Congress.
"The Democrats are willing to cause such destruction in the pursuit of power, just imagine the devastation they would cause if they ever obtained the power they so desperately want and crave," Trump said.
He also applauded GOP Sens. Chuck Grassley and Mitch McConnel, saying both are "great," as well as Sen. Susan Collins.

Each side is trying to keep the base excited enough to vote.
The Dems. have decided to be hysterical with actions.

It’s ok to thank Grassley and Lindsey and Collings if it makes them all feel swell, but Trump needs to thank us, too. It is we who have been fighting for two weeks to let everyone know what a hatchet job this smear job was and how unacceptable it was to let this go forward. What young lady should have to go through what the leftists and the press did to K. It’s utterly despicable subhuman behavior.

I watched the rally it was very good. I love Trump he says it like it is and he says republican are the party of Law and Order and the Democrats are the party of Crime.
Today has been a good day after the last couple of weeks and the rally was the top off.

Well said. Our side needs to go out and vote straight-Republican ticket. I don’t give a damn if the Congresscritter or Senator in your state is a stinking RINO. He/she is still better than the Rat. Even Flake and Corker voted for Kavanaugh.
