House Minority Leader Rep. Nancy Pelosi announced on Saturday that she will file a Freedom of Information Act request for the FBI report on sexual assault allegations against incoming Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh.
“In purposefully limiting the FBI investigation, it is clear the Republicans were not seeking the truth,” Mrs. Pelosi, California Democrat, said in a statement. “They were seeking cover to do what they wanted to do anyway. To add insult injury they blocked the public’s access to the report.”
Mrs. Pelosi revealed her plans after the Senate confirmed Judge Kavanaugh’s nomination with a 50-48 vote.
The FOIA request will be filed for the actual report, as well as communications the FBI had with the White House and the Senate Judiciary Committee.
The FBI launched a seventh background check after Democrats and a handful of undecided Republicans requested they look into the accusations of sexual assault against him. During the one-week investigation, they looked into the allegations put forward by Christine Blasey Ford and Deborah Ramirez.
“The conduct of the Senate Republican Majority did violence to the reputation of both the Senate Judiciary Committee and the Supreme Court,” Mrs. Pelosi said, “We must proceed in a judicious manner to set the record straight ...

Nothing those nut jobs say or do can take that away.

From Grassley’s recent determination to discover links between the various Ford lawyers, Pelosi and other Democrats on the committee, in regard to the whole set-up against Kavanaugh, it seems as if there are interesting revelations in the FBI report that may not be complementary to the Democrats.
So why is Pelosi pushing for a full disclosure of the FBI report (other than trying to find more “smearable” materials against Justice Kavanaugh)?

The FBI has already informed several other Congressional Oversight Committees that they are so backlogged collecting DATA FROM THE RUSSIA INVESTIGATION that it will be at least 3 YEARS before they can consider your request.
Let it go, Nancy. We’re all tired of it and glad to see an extremely capable man on the court.
I didn’t think things could get worse than what Justice Thomas went through, but the Dems outdid themselves.
I wonder if there is some way to put a time limit or something? This man had to endure seven investigations, putting him and his family through h*ll. It’s not right.

Ford, however, did perjure herself in her testimony about fear of flying and preparing for a lie detector.
We are opening an investigation on Monica McClean to determine of she was employed by the Agency under false pretenses and whether she committed a crime and/or her pension should be withdrawn.

If the press’s loyalty were reversed, they would all be going on about the epic ‘infighting’ in the democrat party as ChiFi and Pleurosy are scratching each others eyes out over the release of the FBI report.
