As stupid as this is on its face value (a boy playing a girl), you would that during a shooting drill, students could seek shelter anywhere available.

I was thinking the same thing. Why is it necessary to separate sexes in a school shooting situation? Wouldn't it be prudent for all sexes to seek shelter together in the nearest safe place?

I'm so glad I went to school in a simpler time.
