Works apparently. But then, having everyone walk around in their skivvies would work also.

“Trump said he had ordered Attorney General Jeff Sessions to immediately go to Chicago to help straighten out the terrible shooting wave.”
Trump is a genius! He can’t fire the worthless POS so he sends him to Chicago to
fix the shooting spree. Now all Little Jeffie has to do is go over and “inspect” Cabrini Green! They will have a bullet, or maybe two, waiting for his arrival!

after the ACLU threatened to file a lawsuit over the issue. LOL! I want to see the ACLU appeal something to the NEW Supreme Court. Not only will they lose, but they'll be forced to pay attorneys fees to the defendant.
Even ex-ACLU lawyer RBG can't help them now.

This will never fly. Some lefty judge will strike it down as “raciss”.

I guess “innocent until proven guilty” isn’t a thing here anymore like it’s been the last few weeks

Forget racist. Just a blatant violation of your rights against unreasonable search and seizure.

"So is there any common denominator among the perps?" Yes. And we don't have to sacrifice the Bill of Rights to make use of it.
The common denominator is that the perps have benefitted from a catch-and-release judicial system which makes it profitable to continue engaging in criminal activities despite multiple convictions.
I'm not in favor of increasing sentences as a deterrent. I want the sentences increased because that results in criminals spending more time behind bars and less time committing crimes.
Career criminals belong in prison.

"unconstitutional because of its overwhelming impact on minority residents."
Nevermind that Chicago is 90% minorities.

Pull police off traffic detail trying to get people for 26 in a 25 zone and put them under cover finding info on the gangs.

"...stop and frisk..."
Agreed. Police should be kept on a very short leash.
Officer Jones noted the driver was operating a very clean vehicle, current registration, valid insurance, and not festooned with many bumperstickers, so Officer Jones did a roadside stop to see if he/she was a Republican and potentially carrying banned AR-15 rifle(s).

Everyone knows where the problem lies. But the PC/ACLU types, like some on this thread, don’t want to admit it. That is why it just gets worse. And people die. Apparently it is “unreasonable” to come to grips with it.

Like they did in West Denver during the '90s with the blessings of parents there, to cool things down? Sometimes not as easily, because fewer criminals in the Midwest identify as gang members. They do have drug habits in common, though.

I remember that. But now it creeps back in because the current Denver government is much more like Chicago, willfully blind.
