I made an appointment for tomorrow with a job placement agency that specializes in production work. The man asked if I am willing join the night shift. I said no. He said it pays more. I then replied Alright, I want to Be Best. Tomorrow I bring documents, fill out the paperwork, sign their contract.

I’ve long thought tax-favored “enterprise zones” were a way to get inner citians to work and be productive.

Of course, the Dims always opposed that. God forbid there are people who do want to work and and rebuild their neighborhoods.

Gotta keep ‘em on that D Plantation

Funny you mention that. Tomorrow I'm going to a staffing agency as well, since I'm being blocked by age and over-qualification in my area. Gotta keep the lights on somehow, and I'm not moving again. Done enough moving for two lifetimes.

Good luck tomorrow, FRiend!

I am self-employed so I need to hustle up work fro time to time (I am an IT contractor).

The down side is my boss is a jerk. ;)

I worked for my wife but she recently went to jail and some of her work contacts dried up.

Probably a good idea. It's very hard to get past the dimwits that work on corporate HR departments. They are professional box checkers, no ability to think outside the box. (no pun intended).

Recruiters and staffing firms are much better at it and they are incentivized to place you.

Wow. Not many people have such an interesting story. Did she steal something?

Wouldn’t that be a hoot? Would love to attend a pro-Kanye, Trump rally in Chicago...

Turns out she was on probation for shoplifting and then thought it was a good idea to rob people on ebay, in my name.

I just don’t see him running for mayor of Chicago. First, it’s a full-time job....something that would take away from his brand and his music. Second, Kim won’t move to Chicago (never in a thousand years). Third, he would have to take on the Chicago machine and convince the black community to vote for Kanye West the Republican (I admit....a quarter of the city might do it).

Now, in 2022, Kamala Harris comes up to run again. It’s possible that Kanye is trying to get some things pushed and show effort of achievement....then place himself against Harris in 2022’s election. Name-wise, running as a Republican...He might clear 50-percent of the vote.
