Still a lot of green here in north central WV at 2000’.
Temps have been in the low 80s this week, and humid.
This weather patern has ruined the foliage season this year, especially if we get a lot of rain from Michael this weekend.

It was in the 70s today. but that will not last.
The maple in my yard was a huge disappointment this year.
The leaves turned yellow and brown, and just fell off the tree like that. Yuck.
Most all of the other trees are “turning” nicely.
yeah. that storm will ruin your leaves for sure..
Bummer!

You did go up there at a good time. Got to see some colors and a touch of snow but beat the cold weather.
Don’t feel too bad. The leaves are still green here too. We had a good amount of rain this year and hope for some vibrant color this fall rather than dull like last year.
LOL! Peaches doesn’t want to let you out of his sight for fear you’ll run away again.

Wow, peak weekend already? I’ve always wanted to go up to that part of the country to see the fall colors but have never been able to manage it. Have to settle for stunning pix instead. We get colors here but not like y’all do.
