The ideas that the court is just another political branch and that the presumption of innocence no longer applies if you are on the other team represent a seismic shift in how we look at each other and the nation as a whole.
This should really be clarified, to say that the liberals and leftists, are the ones who decided that presumption of innocence no longer applies to the other side. It is the Democrats/leftists, who decided to start such a war, not conservatives.
