"...private travel between South Carolina and Washington, D.C."
For a one-hour flight? Ethics violations - really?
And in light of Trump Admin officials and Republican legislators being harassed on planes and in restaurants - they gripe about a short-hop private plane flight?

I recently submitted a proposal for an international government contract. I was stunned at the economic wastefulness and personal hardship required by US travel laws. Contractors are REQUIRED to use US carriers even if the price is higher, even if there are more stops, and even if the travel time is up to 4 hours longer. In our case there was a non-stop foreign flight from NYC at a better price we couldnt consider.

Wait...what? She didn’t hide anything, reported the flights/methods, and had reason to believe they qualified for an exception because she had a personal relationship with those offering the services....but someone can try to pick it apart and tie her in with those who went the hide and hope nobody sees route ... sounds like a mini Kavanaugh attack...she “might” have bent a rule, at no cost to the government and from a job that’s not conducive to being helpful to many folks as she carries out Trump’s agenda in the UN....

Is there any doubt that groups like CREW would have filed a similar ethics complaint against Senator Daines if he took the private jet offered to him to rush back to DC to vote for Kavanaugh?

Why are these people so stupid about these things?
Mob mentality, lack of discernment, tendency to slander
God bless Nikki Haley, best UN Ambassador ever.
God bless President Donald Trump, chosen in a miracle election.
May God continue to show us mercy. May He rebuke the adversaries' lies. May He reveal His truth to heal our nation and make us a blessing to our citizens and neighbors throughout the world.

By all accounts she is a smart conservative politician who ran a competent administration. The throwback bleatings of a small minority aside she won her 2014 re-election with the biggest margin for a GOP candidate in several decades.
This is all the resident swamp creatures, the liberal media and numbnuts like Anne Coulter flopping about to find a narrative that serves their interests. She will probably spend a few years in the private sector building a war chest and then run again for national office.
To: grania
I was very disappointed in her too.

South Carolina paid a high price during the Civil War most of those Ante Bellum homes were BURNED because of Fort Sumter.
This state also paid a high price during the Revolutionary War hosting Cornwallis and his British army.
There is a lot of history to preserve, thank god they care about it, as they are one of the original thirteen colonies. I have relatives buried there from both wars. I also have relatives who fought for both the North and the South in the Civil war.
There is so much that has been lost. I personally am thankful for those who wish to preserve their heritage in any place. As I discovered in my adult years, your own family history sometimes turns our to be the heritage someone unconnected to you is saving.

We never should've gotten involved in Syria, Libya, Egypt or Iraq. These are sovereign nations that probably would not have had dissent leading to destruction without our meddling. Anyone I've met from the area who has moved here tells of how they were quite happy in their homelands before our globalist meddling destroyed them.
Not every conservative has the same attitude toward global meddling. I'm a "USA first" kind of gal, and have the same respect for other sovereign nations. We are, and have been since the wars began, an uninvited invasion force in Syria.

There are still too many people dreaming of the Ante Bellum SouthWhat there are is too many people who want to erase the history and culture of the south and replace it with their globalist nightmare.
