Google drops out of Pentagon cloud computing competition

Google is no longer competing for a Pentagon cloud-computing contract worth up to $10 billion, saying in a statement that the contract may conflict with company principles.

A Google spokesman said in a statement obtained by Bloomberg that the company is "not bidding on the JEDI contract because first, we couldn’t be assured that it would align with our AI Principles."

"And second, we determined that there were portions of the contract that were out of scope with our current government certifications," the spokesman added.

ts not as complex as we want to think. The problem is that Google has too many engineers and techies working for it, who are Communists from China and other places, who have no clue what the 1st amendment is, or how it impacts their work.

The techies advocate for a devolution of the 1st amendment, and 2nd amendment because order is more important than liberty . That’s their Chinese Commie culture.

If they are working in the USA, these Chinese Commie Nationals need to be rooted out and deported for their consistent derogation of the 1st amendment.A class action should be brought by Judicial Watch and others , and pursued until such deportation occurs.

Google was also instrumental in the destruction of Libya, the attack by the Muslim Brotherhood on the Egyptian government, and helping terrorists in the Sudan, Syria and Somalia, collectively called ‘Obama’s Arab Spring.’ Google is expert at destabilizing social situation’s into crisis and civil war.

That’s why Google did not show at the recent Social Media Platform summit, when all others did, including Facebook. Google has a lot to hide, and they want Trump gone. Simple.
Google is run by leftist , commie radicals who have no hesitation in using their platform to bring about a totalitarian society in America.

Why does the Pentagon even need to outsource a cloud service when the NSA has huge server farms that could be used for the purpose?

Yada, yada, yada...

We are about to take our company IT infrastructure to the cloud, and are only considering AWS and Azure.

I vetoed Google right out of the gate. Google is an evil company.

It helping the United States violates their “principles” and if their only principle is “do no evil” then we can conclude they think the United States is evil.

NSA servers can be expanded using the contract money.

From a security standpoint, it is much better to have the Pentagon’s cloud computing in-house at the NSA than to have it with any private firm.

Besides, all of the data will end up being mirrored in NSA servers anyway...

Not stated: “...and a US government contract would present an OCI (Official Conflict of Interest) with our contract with the Chinese government and their efforts to stifle free speech.”

Is that approved under Directive 10-289?

But it is not against Google’s principles to help China build a censored search engine.

Google would rather work with China anyway. Their government actually discourages free speech, which is so much easier for Google techs to implement and support.
