“and the 10th Circuit could decide to dismiss the complaints as moot now that Kavanaugh has joined the high court.”

If I’m reading this right, Roberts punted this matter to the 10th Circuit who can’t do squat about this. The keyword is “moot.”

Looks good to me, but prepare the fainting couches for all the FR weenies who are about to pile into this thread and declare that we’re DOOOOMED!

Kavanaugh had been in the Bush inner circle. This will be a very friendly court.

This is the left trying to do a Trump treatment on Kavanaugh. They believe this bogus BS will somehow delegitimize him. More moonbat posturing.

Both the DC Circuit and Supreme Court have “appearance of impropriety” concerns about these complaints, because the justices/judges on these courts all know Kavanaugh and have known him for years.

To avoid the appearance of impropriety, Roberts farmed out the complaints to another court. Ethically, he did the right thing. As someone noted above, whether the 10th Circuit can do anything about the complaints is doubtful, as the only remedy against Kavanaugh is impeachment and a trial in the US Senate. The 10th Circuit can’t remove him (for that matter, the Supreme Court can’t expel a member).
