No problem, I’ve been triggered by quite a bit the past few months. I was wearing one of my “don’t f**K with me” (figuratively speaking) t-shirts the other day and a younger guy in his 20s comes up to me and says, “I guess you’re a Trump supporter, huh?”
I looked at him and said, “Don’t go there with me Hero, you won’t come back.” He left without a word. I told a buddy of mine the other day that we need to get a bunch of retired Rangers, SF, SEALs and RECON Marines together and “observe” one of those ANTIFA events, just to see what happens.
As USUAL, the rag won’t name the offender - so I have completed their work for them.

If you are ever ordered to do something like that , get it in writing and signed. It will make you a mint later on.
Or just get someone to video the principal/teacher telling you to remove the shirt/hat. If it’s done in an overtly authoritative and commanding tone, you could end up owning the mint.
I would politely say fek off and move on. What are they going to do, call a SWAT team? Acquiesce is weakness and that is what the PC POS want. Obama was shoved down our throat for eight years and we put up with ALL of it.
Devil's advocate: It is possible that the principal feared that the boy would be physically assaulted by leftists, and made him remove the shirt to protect him. Of course, the kid could have said "Make my day" in response.
The kid was 18. He shoulda flipped the guy the finger and just said “NO, GFY and leave me alone”.

Probably both. True liberals do things and give up themselves for the cause. Why? Because they are idiots. They would have had him arrested for trying to incite a riot they would have fictionally created by having a kid say something by asking the right questions. Then he would have been suspended for doing what the school system should have considered was going to happen when they decided to have a politically purposed event.
He did right by removing the shirt. He would have gotten into more grief if he had refused and giving them more fodder for court in their counter to his case as actions that could be considered confrontational. I.E. trying to start a riot.
When the smoke clears, everyone will be absolved for “trying” to do their job for the protect of “the children,” and no one will get nailed. They may even settle out of court with a public apology that they “misinterpreted” the situation and tried to defuse something they over killed. They probably have some low level employee already selected to do that and take the blame. It’s how liberals work.
