Posted on 10/12/2018 1:55:22 PM PDT by Red Badger
Christie-Lee McNally, executive director of Free Our Internet, warned of large technology companies procurement of political influence via lobbying efforts in Washington, DC. She offered her remarks in a Thursday interview with Breitbart News Editor-in-Chief Alex Marlow on SiriusXMs Breitbart News Daily.
Free Our Internet is a non-profit organization describing itself as an opponent of the tech-left and its political censorship of conservative speech online.
They control over 90 percent of the internet, so they dont need to capitulate to us, they dont need to capitulate to the Senate [or] the president. They dont need to capitulate because theyve bought them all. The amount they pay in lobbyists if you look at FEC reports and how much they pay in lobbyists [and in] Washington, DC, they dont have to worry about legislation.
Clearly they lied last month when they went up there, said McNally of Twitter and Facebook executives denial of political censorship across their digital platforms during testimony before congressional committees.

But remember, Democrats ALWAYS cover for other Democrats lying. So it’s all good.
Antitrust. Break up Alphabet.
Congress can be bought?
I believe it. Facebook and others too. That’s one reason they feel so free to OPENLY discriminate against conservatives.
They don’t care if you know, and actually, they want you to know just how big and bad they’ve become.
Bought, or just rented?
Not if all political contributions are required to be ANONYMOUS. They can't sell influence if they don't know who is buying.
Free booze and woman changes a lot of votes.
While at the same time, the Republicans who control the Congress will ferret out these lies....but they didn't....they also covered for the lying Democrats. So the ONLY answer must be MORE Republicans...so they can do a better job of covering up....so we won't see.
Last month, 60 Minutes (a re-run) ran a story about how pervasive Google’s influence was on Capitol Hill. However, they approached the story from the lobbying perspective (IOW, how much money Google has spent on attorneys and lobbyists) rather than the political anti-GOP angle.
Uniparty ones, for sure.
“We have the best Congress money can buy!”.....Mark Twain..............
RICO Laws apply..........................
Too often here, FReepers follow the MSM meme that R = Conservative when that just is not so.
Sundar Pichai, Google CEO, presides over a high tech anti-America company, spewing agit-prop bent on destroying our democratic process.
He thumbed his nose at America refusing to testify over this issue before the US Congress recently, preferring to fly back to India.
Pichai is disloyal to the American system of justice, the American electoral system, and the US Constitution.
<><> these tech companies should be broken up using existing anti-trust laws which are more than adequate for the task,
<><> they should be categorized as any other 1st Amendment platform, not an open forum,
<><> they should lose their Section 230 liability protections under the Communications Decency Act,
<><> all banned, suspended, shadow banned, or demonized conservatives should sue the panties off these weak-titted SJ fascists. (hat tip nickednack)

True. Unfortunately D-Democrat always means allegiance to Obama and Obama’s ideas. (not that some R’s did that too)
God may not be a Republican, but Satan is certainly a Democrat.
Especially if blackmail is used properly.
