My impression is that the top tier of Saudi leadership all live in some ‘bubble of stupidity’ and this was all planned for maximum effect, with no thought over it being discovered.
Who would send a 15-man assassination team for one-single guy walking into the ‘trap’? Who would fail to grasp that the Turks have your entire embassy ‘bugged’?
If you follow Turkish news...they have the names of the 15 guys, so they could prosecute (if they had a body).
